Netgear RangeMax Next Wireless-N Gigabit Router WNR3500 Review
- The Netgear RangeMax Next Wireless-N Gigabit Router WRT3500's design is unusual and somewhat annoying. You can't wall-mount the tall, upright case, and fitting it on a desk is diffcult, too, because you can't stack it and you need a reasonably clear area around it. It's cool-looking though, especially when the ring of blue lights around the top flash to show network activity.

Duration of ownership:
Strengths: Out of the box a great productPros: Easy Setup, Lots of settings, lights on top of router are interesting (they have an on/off button)
Weaknesses: Setup is more complicated than most routers. Internet explorer based interface to router is unattractive. But bearable. Cons: Repeated signal drops are annoying
Overall Evaluation: Bought product only for one reason for online game play on PS3, but lag is so bad (worse then my old, 10 year old, router). So i bought a ethernet cable and just connected the router to the PS3 still very bad lag, cant even play. After calling netgear, the IT did help somewhat, now router is 90% lag free but not perfect. After reading multiple online blogs and costumer reviews many many people are not happy with the quality with the router. As of right now i would give the router a 6 out of 10. Hope netgear can fix this problem in the future.
