What You Should Know about the X9575 Professional

Duplex Printing a Must for Busy Offices

A printer with duplex capability contains an internal mechanism for turning the paper over to print on the other side. (This is not to be confused with the manual duplexing that some printers offer, where driver software walks you through the process of turning over the paper yourself.) Any high-volume office should seriously consider this feature. The duplexing process slows down your print job a bit, but it also immediately cuts your paper use in half -- good for your budget, good for the environment.

User Reviews for Lexmark X9575 Professional

    Duration of ownership:

    Strengths: Duples printing

Weaknesses: Takes 90 seconds to respond to a print command, and sometimes needs to be told to print a second time before it responds. Sounds like a thrashing machine in an echo chamber. Wireless.

Overall Evaluation: I bought this as a replacement for an HP all-in-one because the HP wouldn't print correctly with Windows Vista installed. The old HP was great except that it wouldn't print 'Head-To-Head" in duplex mode. It would only produce "Head-To-Foot" two-sided papers. This X9575, at least, solved the duplex print problem, but by the time it starts to print I can make a pot of coffee and drink two cups before it finishes.

    Strengths: Price

Weaknesses: Slow, not so easy to use after all

Overall Evaluation: I bought this because it was supposed to print on two sides. It does, but only from one document. The software does not allow you print on the other side if it a different document. Also the duplex printer box gets jammed frequently. And the wireless is slow!!!! It is not as easy to use as my old HP. And it prints so slow.....perhaps from other reviews it my computer and not the printer, but it is very slow.....not fast as advertised.
