Weaknesses: VERY BRIGHT - must tone it down some.

Overall Evaluation: I bought this monitor from BestBuy 3 months ago and I love it. I've had numerous other LCD monitors in the past few years but this tops them all (especially Dell!). This monitor is bright so you'll need to dial down the brightness level some. I have it set at 38 (scale of 1 to 100). And even at 38 it's bright but not too straining on the eyes. It's the perfect size for gaming, muliple document display, two internet windows, and it's great for video editing (which is what I bought it for). Keep in mind that your video card and the way you connect to this (or any monitor) will have an effect on the quality of the image. This monitor is HDMI ready and also includes a DVI and VGA connectors. Do yourself a favor and DON'T connect it using the VGA. Get yourself a video card which has a DVI connector. It does make a difference - at least for me.I highly recommend this monitor even though it's gonna run you about $100 to $200 more than Dell, HP, or some of the other "lesser known" brands. But it's worth it. I struggled letting go of $400 when so many other 24" monitors are out there for under $300. But read the reviews. They tell the story.
