Duration of ownership:
Strengths: Prints / Copies / Scans, Fast, 1200dpi B&W, 4800x1200 resolution, cool memory card reader and design
Weaknesses: Price is a tad high in my opinion, lots of other all-in-ones at similar price range; ink is above average, cost wise
Overall Evaluation: I bought this HP C4480 as a backup for my laser printer; its great because one machine is able to print, copy and scan. The photo prints actually come out semi-lab quality - not bad! Its a speedy machine too, 30 ppm (pages per minute) for black and 23 ppm in color. The built in memory card reader is handy especially at work where I don't have all the wires / card readers. I think this generation HP printers have a great, sleek design as well. The slowest of all functions is the scanner portion, but most products are the same way. Overall, an average priced machine that is above average!

Duration of ownership:
Strengths: all-in-one printer, well built
Weaknesses: none
Overall Evaluation: this printer frees up space by having a printer, copier, and scanner all in one machine. It is also easy to use. It isn't that heavy either when you think about how much just a standard printer weighs. Definitely an awesome machine!

Duration of ownership:
Strengths: Comes with a 1.5 LCD and a media card reader for quick printing/scanning/copying without the computer.
Weaknesses: No wireless capability, though at this price point its not really a weakness.
Overall Evaluation: Installation is fairly simple with 1.5 LCD giving step by step instruction on how to setup the printer. Despite what I have read about the software, I have not had any problem installing it on my first try on Windows XP Home. After setting up I printed a photo with the 3 photo papers it came with and was fairly impressed with the result. With the Hp software its possible to shrink or crop the picture but there is no option to stretch to use with the borderless printing option. Overall very satisfied with this purchase.
