We haven't had our hands on this product, but we know which features matter. Here's how the measures up:
Widescreen Monitor Offers Extra Viewing Space for HD Video, Gaming, and Work Apps
Widescreen displays such as this one have become more popular as people discover the benefits of the extra horizontal space for application palettes, viewing documents side by side, and for a more cinematic experience when watching movies or playing video games. This is a 16:10 widescreen display capable of displaying high-definition video, but it is a bit taller than the 16:09 aspect ratio found on most HDTVs, so some letterboxing will be necessary to fill the space above and below the video window.
DVI interface gives you a cleaner picture than older analog connections
This display uses DVI (Digital Video Interface) to connect to a computer. DVI uses a digital signal and delivers a higher quality picture than an analog VGA connection. Older computer may not offer DVI, but almost all computers purchased in the last few years should. Also, be sure to check if the display ships with a DVI cable.
VGA Interface Will Connect to Nearly All Computers and Displays, But At the Cost of Some Clarity
This display has VGA connectivity. Also known as RGB, this analog connector represents the lowest common denominator of display ports. VGA is found on most displays and most computers, ensuring wide compatibility. Computers create a digital video signal, so when you use a VGA connection, the digital video from your computer is converted into analog to go out across the VGA cable, and then re-digitized for use on the display. This can result in image quality that’s not as good-looking as that from a DVI or HDMI connection. Many displays include VGA and a digital connector such as DVI.
HDCP Compliance is Crucial If You're Planning to Watch Blu-ray or Other HD Content
This display supports HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection), an Intel developed technology meant to protect high definition digital content from being intercepted during transmission. If you don't plan on watching Blu-ray discs or HDTV, then HDCP is probably not important to you. If you think you might want to watch HD content, look for an HDCP-compliant display. DVI displays can be HDCP compliant, but aren’t necessarily. HDCP protection is built into the HDMI specification, so if your display has at least one HDMI port, then you should be able to play protected content on your screen.
Energy Star-Certified Monitors Save Power Whether They're On or Off
This display has met the stringent requirements for Energy Star certification. To become Energy Star compliant, a display must adhere to power-saving rules for its On, Sleep, and Off modes. An Energy Star display should use between 25 and 60 percent less energy than a standard, non-Energy Star monitor.

Strengths: Sharp picture and vivid colorsThin BezelOnscreen controlsFully Mac-CompatibleIncludes VGA and DVI cables
Weaknesses: Onscreen controls a bit tricky to get used to.No height adjustment (few monitors do these days)Text not quite as sharp at res below 1440x900
Overall: Very sharp picture and vivid colors that seem very accurate. Thin Bezel (about .75" all around, but tapered at sides and bottom for thinner appearance). Onscreen controls have thematic settings (text, standard, graphics, movie, and custom); custom setting is fully user-customizable and settings are maintained if you want to switch to thematic setting (for a movie, for example) and then back. Only drawbacks are that controls take a bit to get used to, and text looks a bit fuzzy at any resolution lower than the "native" 1440x900, but that's fairly normal; at least in Word one can zoom the view to increase text size.Notes: I use an Apple iBook G4 (with a video hack to allow higher resolution) with VGA connection.Overall, I'm thrilled with the monitor, especially since I bought it on a great sale (at Best Buy).

Strengths: Outstanding resolution. Plug & Play works great. I have used the monitor on 3 different systems running 2000 to Vista and it is up & running in seconds.
Weaknesses: No monitor height adjustment
Overall: I highly recommend this 19" Widescreen LCD Monitor. The high resolution display is outstanding. If you are moving up to a LCD monitor you will be impressed. If you have used LCD monitors, you will still be impressed. This is not only a very competitvely priced LCD Monitor, but it has excellent resolution for the price range.

Strengths: 1. This has the highest resolution of 1680 X 1050 that you will not find in any other 19" LCD.2. No dead pixels.3. 5ms Response time makes the monitor ideal for any quick changing images like game
Weaknesses: 1. You can't get this 1680 X 1050 resolution on your VGA (analog) line unless your Display device (onboard/graphic card) supports this specifically
Overall: This is the best LCD monitor I ever had. I was specially impressed with the high resolution compared to any other monitor in the market. The other good part is that it came with both the VGA and the DVI cables. The resolution of 1680 X 1050 got recognized on my DVI interface, but when I tried the same on the VGA, I would not get that option on my display properties. So if you have only a VGA output, with you Display device not listing this resolution, be careful, you may run into issues.Overall, this is the best monitor I have used and hence I would give it a 5 star rating.
