Short On Desk Space? Older Aspect Ratio May Allow a Little More Elbow Room
Once the dominant shape of both televisions and desktop monitors, 4:03 aspect ratio displays such as this one are falling from favor as people want to a more cinematic experience from their displays. With this dimension, you don't get as much extra horizontal space, which can be handy for application palettes or for viewing documents side-by-side.
DVI interface gives you a cleaner picture than older analog connections
This display uses DVI (Digital Video Interface) to connect to a computer. DVI uses a digital signal and delivers a higher quality picture than an analog VGA connection. Older computer may not offer DVI, but almost all computers purchased in the last few years should. Also, be sure to check if the display ships with a DVI cable.
VGA Interface Will Connect to Nearly All Computers and Displays, But At the Cost of Some Clarity
This display has VGA connectivity. Also known as RGB, this analog connector represents the lowest common denominator of display ports. VGA is found on most displays and most computers, ensuring wide compatibility. Computers create a digital video signal, so when you use a VGA connection, the digital video from your computer is converted into analog to go out across the VGA cable, and then re-digitized for use on the display. This can result in image quality that’s not as good-looking as that from a DVI or HDMI connection. Many displays include VGA and a digital connector such as DVI.
Turn Your World On Its Side With a Rotating Screen
Computer display screens are almost always wider than they are tall. This landscape mode works best most of the time, enabling you to view multiple windows side by side. Other times, however, having a taller, narrower screen may be preferable for reading manuscripts, for displaying information, or for point of sale purposes. For these situations, a display like this one, with a stand that allows you to rotate the screen from landscape to portrait orientation, can come in quite handy. You’ll need to make sure that your computer’s graphics card or the monitor’s included rotation software is compatible with your system.

Strengths: DVI, Pivot, Thin-Bezel, MagicBright
Weaknesses: Height Adjustment is a bit confusing.
Overall: The monitor is excellent. Before I purchased this monitor, I read some reviews on the web and some people complained about fuzzy fonts on the screen. That made me worried to buy this monitor. However, it turned out that the monitor is a very good quality. I used DVI interface to connect the monitor and everything looked sharp and clear. I think those reviewers used analog interface. Both digital and analog cables are included in the monitor. Also, it has a pivot function and includes pivot software. MagicBright feature is very handy from wordprocessing to watching movies. Only gripe is that height adjustment is a bit insecure, but it does its job. Anyway, this monitor is very good under $350.
