Duration of ownership: 2 Weeks
Strengths: Stylish, easy to set up and register with phone provider, Verizon's network and BARS (5 of 'em, vs T-Mobile 1/2 bar in my neighborhood), easy to sync calendar and contacts from Mac
Weaknesses: A bit heavier than iPhone
Overall: Love it. Best Christmas present I've bought myself in years!

Strengths: Verizon fast 3g network. The new update fixed alot of bugs. Clear video and audio.
Weaknesses: No Applications. Apps store will launch in March 09. It's a new learning curve with the surepress keyboard.
Overall: 1 of the best phones on the Verizon network

Strengths: The phone looks nice, I have not used it though. I like the touch screen of this phone, it's sort of like iphone. I would recommend this product to users who want to use smart phones.
Weaknesses: I have not had enough time to find out the weakness of this product yet. But I am sure it's one of the best phones that might have some tiny drawbacks.

Strengths: Screen resolution and size. Ability to multitask. Reasonable size. Touch-screen. Communication in virtually every Internet medium.
Weaknesses: Battery life.
Overall: My Storm is the first RIM device I have owned. I never cared for the keyboard on the other devices or for their size. The Storm is nice because the keyboard is virtual. There was a learning curve with the touch screen keyboard, but I suspect not any more so that with other RIM devices. The screen resolution is incredible for such a small device. The abilities of this phone to manage so much online content is astounding. I love being able to get all of messages on one device. The one downside is battery life. I absolutely must recharge daily. I try to remember to put it on the charger when I am not mobile. That keeps it continually ready for use.

Strengths: sure touch screen 3.2 mega pixel camera great video playback just overall the best phone on the market
Weaknesses: none
Overall: I love my BlackBerry storm and everything about it. Its way better then the iphone or the g1 by t-mobile. No other phone compares to this one its by far the best. All the people giving this phone a bad review just dont know how to use it to its fullest capabilities. I have been using this phone since it was released and have not experienced any of the problems others have. once you learn how to fully use the phone your reviews will most likely make a big change. Just give it some time and you will see.

Strengths: nice looking, video playback looks fantastic!
Weaknesses: everything...
Overall: rather than go into everything about this phone, just read the "Shocked and Disappointed" review. everything he says about the phone is on the money. I got mine via US mail because all the stores were sold out. When I got it I was excited and couldn't wait to activate it... well, it turns out I could have waited... the touch screen is very cumbersome... not to mention the slow response at times. I thought it was defective for a little while, until I read others were experiencing the same thing... The keys are difficult to type without hitting the wrong key... often! and as stated in the other post, it takes forever to type a message! anyway, if you are looking for a "Verizon" phone to compete with the the Iphone... well, keep looking because the Iphone blows this one away.

Strengths: Nice design, good display, clear sound quality from speakers, good video playback
Weaknesses: Battery, very sluggish, poor interface, slow typing, NO WIFI!,
Overall: Let me start my saying I'm a Blackberry Addict. I've had them for many years, start with the ugly 7100. I've gone through about 10 of them (since I get them for free), and I have to say I was really looking forward to this one. I currently have a Pearl, a Curve 8330, and a Bold as well (yes, I know the Bold is AT&T and the Storm is Verizon).Ok, so let me tell you what's good and bad about this phone. First off, I found it extremely difficult to live without the thumbwheel/trackball. BBs have always been great because of their user interface - you can do just about everything with one thumb. Well, it's gone. And I found myself frustrated with the new, unintuitive interface. I feel like I have to keep switching between fingers and thumbs. It's really annoying after a few days. I am glad they kept the main buttons (menu, back, etc).Next, there's no wifi! Not RIM's fault but Verizon's. WTF Verizon, W T F?! In this day and age, WiFi should be standard, especially when it comes with the Curve. It's like paying more to downgrade. What were they thinking? That brings me to point #3. They probably left it out because WiFi eats battery life - and they hardly have any to begin with. What I love about my other BBs is that they take 45 minutes to charge and last many days. The Storm took me an hour to charge and lasted me a little over a day - and I barely even used it!! If they added WiFi, you probably couldn't take it off the charger. Not to mention, the battery gets hot. I've read other reviews that say the same thing. Pathetic!#4: Typing. This one's fairly obvious. You're just not going to be able to type as fast as you would on the Curve - not a chance. The reason is that the display is basically one big button, so even if you want to use two fingers, you can only type one at a time. You will type at the same speed with one or two fingers.#5: It's Slow. Again, a trademark feature in any BB is the speed at which is moves from application to application. It just works. Unfortunately, the Storm breaks this trend. There were times it took over 5 seconds for it to respond to a single click. I "rebooted", hoping it would change things, but after an hour of use, it went back to being sluggish again.I've only had it for a few days so I haven't tested it completely. I'll try and update this review if there is other good/bad news to report. So far, I'm very disappointed. If you just want something flashy, go for it. If you're going to use it regularly, do not buy it!I would recommend you stick to the Bold / Curve / Pearl. Curve is still my favorite although the Bold is a close second. I will review those soon as well. I just HAD to review this based on my disappointing experience with it.
