Strengths: easy to use, enough memory for addresses and appointments
Weaknesses: old model not enough memory for additional software
Overall: When the Palm Pilot was released I purchased it right away. Then the company was purchased by 3com and I upgraded to the Palm III. The transfer of data was seamless. I do most of my data entry for the unit on the computer and sync the data with the Palm. When needed I do enter data directly to the palm and have become pretty fast with phone numbers and addresses. I currently store 2,700 addresses and 100's of appointments and memos on the Palm III and I have plenty of memory for more. However, I run into problems when I want to add applications like Vindigo and I can only have 2 cities on the system at once because of the lack of memory. Now with that the Palm V out in the market or even the rex I find the Palm III a little bulky considering I carry it everywhere. I will upgrade soon.
