Strengths: Great FPS, Cheap, Plays everything great.
Weaknesses:
Overall Evaluation: good driver support through nvidia.com, runs great with a good system, won't compensate for poor system specs posted by other reviewers. Works great with newer games that require T&L hardware support (NOLF 2 And Battlefield 1942.

Strengths: Superb color resolution
Weaknesses: Goes to 'blue death' on Windows ME. Apparently, this card does not work well with AMD processors. I have a brand new SOYO K7VTA-PRO motherboard with VIA K133 AGP chip running AMD Athlon 1400mHz.
Overall Evaluation: This is not a universal card. Do heavy research before buying. It also likes to load the monitor drivers twice at default mode regardles of whether or not you change it. Exchanged for PNY's Verto GeForce4 MX 420 AGP. Lots more features for the exact same price.

Strengths: Well, according to the claims of the manufacturer and companies that have tested this product, I would have to say that it is a good product.
Weaknesses: Conflicts with certain hardware
Overall Evaluation: Vision Tek knows that their cards conflict with SiS chipsets on motherboards, but they have done nothing to correct this problem. I was told to update the AGP slot with the most recent drivers. After updating with the most recent drivers that are only two weeks old, the card is still conflicting. The way it conflicts is that the screen freezes at various intervals. I have updated the AGP drivers 4 times already and nothing works. Another thing that is a drawback about this card is that you cannot install Windows 2000, and probably some other versions of Windows, on a computer while this card is plugged in. If you already have an operating system on the card, then no problems will occur except for the possible freezing up issue. I asked Vision Tek why I couldn't install Windows 200 while this card was plugged in and the rep told me that I have to plug in another video card just to install an operating system. So if you get the card recognized and working, maybe it's worth it.

Strengths: quality product, up-to-date drivers.
Weaknesses: none
Overall Evaluation: It's a quality card - VisionTek's xtasy is a good card with the GeForce 2 mx 400 technology (if that is what you want) it would be my recommendation. As far as the other reviews, I don't think these are techies. Maybe they could use some help... User cnaegele, from TX can't enable 3D support - dxdiag and click hardware enable. If you are mentioning reviews from PC World you may need to know that. User mhart, from CO says it Freezes in all 3d games on my Presario 5000. Changed IRQ per tech support without success. Reformatted drive. Still doesn't work. Gonna have to yank it out and find one that works. - First of all tell us what a Presario 5000 is (and yes we know that is a Compaq). Second, hardware compatibity is always a posible issue, no matter who made it. User bluntworks, from CO rants and raves (just like to say you guys who have had problems maybe you shouldnt buy store brand computers maybe you should buy a computer that you will be able to upgrade cause this card kicks butt on my computer have had no problems none at all nothing i kinda wish I did have some problems so i can go get a gf3 or 4 but it hasnt so im fixed for now :) ) - that was blunworks smile, here is my frown :( You moron, not only is this the longest run-on sentance, but you didn't even give this card the 5 stars it deserves.
