Strengths: USB port in the front for quick laptop hookup.
Weaknesses:Very large
Overall Evaluation: I've not used it enough to give an intelligent review. I had no problems installing and it is working well so far with quick print projects.

Strengths: incredible resolution
Weaknesses:prints have a slight magenta cast
Overall Evaluation: good printer but the price has already dropped significantly since i bought it. ink doesnt last long and is very expensive. such good resolution that it is very dificult to tell the difference from a homemade HP print and the "CVS" conventional analog picture (except for the magenta cast which can be compensated for in a photo enhansing program)

Strengths: Great photo prints, easy to setup, sharp & clear prints on any paper
Weaknesses:have to change to black print cartridge to do good text printing
Overall Evaluation: Outstanding photo printer, both color and black & white prints using its 8 color ink printing. Would not use as a default printer for everything because of having to change to black cartridge for regular work printing. Speed isn't great but is very acceptable and it is reasonable quiet. All in all I am very happy with it.

Strengths: Picture quality is very good. Speed is acceptable however, I'm fussy so I mostly use the highest print quality settings and sacrafice speed.
Weaknesses:Paper feeds doubles with heavier # paper. Always use single sheet feeding w/photo paper to reduce misfeed costs.Foot print is rather large at ~21".Ink consumption >$'s/sh more than HP 722 & 810
Overall Evaluation: Overall I'm pleased with the printer however only because of a couple features that my HP 722 did not have. 1) borderless printing 2) Higher DPI printingso print quality on larger prints is very good. It prints fairly quietly. Photo printing speed is only marginally better and the fast normal B/W printing setting is fast. The printer footprint is larger, just under 21". More mis-feeds / doubles with heavier # paper in the lower tray. Ink is consumed at a faster rate and three cartridges are required to print color versus only one in the HP 722. The red "low ink" light seems to be always flashing like a baby saying "feed me"! Almost 3x more costly for ink then the 722. Print. Haven't found a way to print black & white word documents without using up ink from color cartridges too?I don't use the camera card slots and associated printer viewing screen because I print on 8.5" x 11" paper which I place four pictures on per sheet for printing. If you use the 4" x 6" paper, I would see this feature as a plus but I don't print on 4x6 photo paper.

Strengths: Picture quality is great and I love the limited edit features on the printer.
Weaknesses:Pretty big and the on board memory card reader is WAY too slow!
Overall Evaluation: I had ordered the Canon I900 printer online and when I went to pick it up I let the sales rep talk me into buying the HP 7960. I took my own memory card with me to the store and the HP actually printed a better picture. Once I got it home I saw the lines that everyone complains about. The sales rep says they will fade over time and are not an issue if you use high quality paper. Well, even with the best HP paper out there I still get very annoying lines the entire length of my pictures. Other than the lines I think it's a great printer, but this flaw has made me regret my purchase. I only use the on board memory card reader if I want to print a quick picture. The reader is way to slow to do anything else, like copy the file, etc. I use a regular reader plugged into a USB 2.0, and it's easily 10 times faster. I'm going to take this printer back and try the canon I900.
