  Strengths: Ease of use, downloading, great screen, terrific battery life

  Weaknesses:Short lifespan

  Overall Evaluation: I love(d) my iPod. It holds weeks worth of music which can all be easily organized on iTunes. The sound is terrific and you can take it anywhere. The available accessories are evergrowing making it even easier to take in the car or on a run. The photos were a bit harder to set up but once you find the right menu, it's easy. BUT, the warranty lasts a year and many shut down shortly after. Mine lasted 13 months before showing me a sad mac, aka a major hardware problem. It seemed to fix itself but a week later it quit again. The Apple store told me that the spinning hard drive just does that and that I could "just buy a new one". Nano's don't have this problem because they use flash memory instead. I would buy another, but I would invest in a 2 year warranty. And if you plan on running with it or being active, consider the nano or the Creative players.

  Strengths: Look, Display, Click Wheel, Backlight.

  Weaknesses:Battery Life, Scrathchable, Earbuds.

  Overall Evaluation: Upon buying the iPod I was not sure of how much I would like it, of course my friends enjoyed theirs so I had high expectations. I am pleased to say that I was not disappointed with my purchase. The look is very eye-cathing and stylish. The display is great, the color is so vivid and clear it blows me away. And of course the click wheel is amazing as well as the backlight, it is extremely clear. Unfortunately the exterior is easily scratchable, the battery life isn't the best (although you can conserve A LOT of battery life if you keep the backlight off when unnecessary), and the earbuds they give you crackle easily, but if you take precautions and buy a new set of headphones you will enjoy your iPod so much.

  Strengths: Color screen, click wheel, headphones, battery, looks.

  Weaknesses:The iPod scratches pretty easily, I suggest getting a cover (jam jacket is a nice case) Also, use the protective film that is on the wheel as long as you can. (obviously it protects the wheel)

  Overall Evaluation: I love my iPod, I used to use a mini disc player that held 5 hours of music on each disc and I thought that was a lot. When I bought my iPod I was aware of the huge hard drive space, but I thought I would get it half full before I ran out of music selection. I was wrong I'm still struggling to get above 3GB! The click wheel has to be the best feature on the iPod; I love the control I have over the scrolling and the capability to scroll very fast as well. The headphones that come with the iPod are very stylish and are extremely high quality, they sound great! Some people complain about the battery life on the iPod's, think about it this way.. if you had to put your own batteries in your iPod you would end up spending over what the iPod costed you originally! I think its great they give you a rechargeable lithium battery with the iPod and if you plan on listening to your iPod more then the 15 hour battery life advertised then bring the charger with you! Finally, the looks of the iPod are really cool, iPod's are very eye catching and that is pretty much how I was lured into buying one.Great product well worth every penny!

  Strengths: Color screen is definitely make the screen more appealing, plus it stores photos too

  Weaknesses:Every time I switch on the ipod, it starts from the 1st song, it seems that the ipod doesn't remember the last song that it has played and continue from there

  Overall Evaluation: Overall, it's a great device. I can use it as mp3 player and also as a portable disk with tons of memory. Will surely recommend it to friends. It's the trend, and everyone carries it as "THE THING". The downside is, it is too pricey :p

  Overall Evaluation: This ipod has been working great for me so far! It came just as I imagined it would, without a scratch and the directions are pretty straight forward. I have no complaints on this ipod so far!!! Its the way to go when you're looking for an ipod that can carry some photo memories too!
