  Duration of ownership:

  Strengths: Does a good job if the file paper size is A or B and the font is 8 or greater.

  Weaknesses:Can not load file in size C or greater

  Overall Evaluation: Due to its inability of loading file in size C or greater..Its business application is limited. I spoke to the Nuance support person and was told that there is no plan to add the feature to Omni Page to handle file sice C or greater. The output is kind of dark gray not black like the input file which makes it look imperfect.

  Duration of ownership: 30 Days

  Strengths: Good OCR accuracy

  Weaknesses:Too helpful. UI is decrepit and annoying and opaque. Nothing intuitive here. Sticks itself into all kinds of file associations even though it is unwanted and no way to prevent i in install.

  Overall Evaluation: The OCR is better (a little) but this product is so invasive as to be annoying. For example, now whenever I right-click a JPG file, XP tries to start the Omnipage installer. Tech support is friendly but unhelpful. Just don't do it.
