Strengths: great sound quality and good base tone

    Weaknesses:too big to look good

Overall Evaluation: its sounds are great. I really enjoy listening musics with this earphones. But it is too big to be a good-looking earphone. It looks like a huge almond in ears! Overall I like the excellent sounds of this earphone, but its company should work harder to get a cool look out of it in the future.

Strengths: sound great when they aren't killing my ears.

Weaknesses:Ultimate Ears customer support, and fit.

Overall Evaluation: my experience has been very bad with this product. I purchased at a retail store and out of the box they did not work. I was told that you could not return to store and must go to Ultimate Ears support (for a one day old product)! I sent back to Ultimate Ears and their return policy states a 10 day policy. The new set arrived, after about 7 days, and the included accessories had change, much cheaper carrying case and no leather case! They function properly, but no matter how hard I try I cannot get a good fit, they either kill my ears or fall out! I have a set of the Shure E5C's and did not have any of these issues with them, I would highly recommend the Shure products over the Ultimate Ears!

    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: Wonderful soundstage, good bass, fuller sound

Weaknesses:little big, might feel awkward initially

Overall Evaluation: I bought it pretty cheap ($150) after MIR. I am happy I invested this much for it. Best sounding in-ear earphone in this price range. detachable cord is a plus. Pretty comfortable to wear although its a bit bigger as compared to others. However, after you listen to it, you wouldn't mind being bigger in size. I can just say--- wooooooowwwww. The greatest sound. I like the memory wire concept by which you can place the wire behind your ears. you will also get 2 different types of carrying case. UE customer service is the best. I use this on my 700m and creative zen. I highly recommend.

Weaknesses:A bit high price but I guss good sound ain't cheep.

Overall Evaluation: I thought that I would have to wear them for a while to get comfortable with them but 5 min. after I opened the package up I have enjoyed them. They sound wonderful right out of package. When they break in they will be nothing less then amazing.

Strengths: Quality of the sound is great..

Weaknesses:The wire is extremely thin and the price is kinda high.

Overall Evaluation: The Ultimate Ears Super.fi 5 Pro is awesome. The sound quality is phenominal. You can hear things in the music you would not normally hear on normal headphones. It sounds like you are listening to music in a surround sound environment. These headphones are well worth the price.
