Klipsch Synergy C-2 Center Channel Speaker

The Synergy Series C-2 center channel offers phenomenal sound and stylish flair at an affordable price point. It has been designed to deliver all the detail, subtleties and dynamics required for the ultimate home theater experience. This third generation Synergy center channel benefits from more than 55 years of Klipsch engineering experience and aesthetic upgrades that are representative of a quality of craftsmanship. The C-2 is a two-way Tapered Array system that utilizes a pair of 5.25-inch magnetically shielded, IMG woofers and a 1-inch magnetically shielded, aluminum-dome tweeter coupled to a square Tractrix Horn, which increases sensitivity and minimizes room interactions that blur sonic detail. The C-2 offers bi-wire capabilities allowing the use of one or two speaker level inputs as desired for improved connectivity.

  Duration of ownership: 3 Weeks

  Strengths: Not too bright, or tinny like other centers. Sounds are fairly natural with accurate reproduction of on-screen sound and dialogue. Dependable, with a wide response. Blends well with other brands.

  Overall Evaluation: Definitive performance with reliable sound, movie after movie. I was pleasantly surprised when I took back my other center channel and exchanged it for this one. It displays a nice wide sound response while not being too bright, or being to low. From clear and crisp, to warm and soft, you will not be disappointed. Mixing brands can be challenging when you're looking for that all important timbre match, but this one goes extremely well with my JBL venue stadium speakers. Bad speakers constantly remind you how bad they are, good speakers envelop you, keeping your eyes (and ears) on the story. The Klipsch Synergy III C-2 is a good speaker. Enjoy.
