  Strengths: small, light , flexible, photo and video in one small thing

  Weaknesses:flare in bright sunlight, bad in bad light the lightning turns straight lines like a curved one

  Overall Evaluation: overall it is not real bad, but also not supergood, this porduct is handy where you do not want to go with a normal p&s camera or dslr it takes it time to capture and the display is small and it uses interpolation technology it's like 2048x1536 (3.1 mp) on highest level

  Overall Evaluation: This little Camera Rocked. People see me with it and can't help asking to see it. Used it so much I wore the on/off button,(real small) off the board. It's broke now but I got my $ out of it. I plan to buy the latest unit from mustek real soon. I also own Gsmart D30 and love it!!!

  Strengths: Small size, 32mb SD memory card, ease of use. affordability.

  Weaknesses:No optical zoom, No flash. Not a true 3 megapixel camera. needs tilt/swivel on display. slow capture speed.

  Overall Evaluation: This was my first digital camera and it taught me what I want out of camera as this did not have it. this camera is handicapped by not having a optical zoom or flash. There is a night mode, but the images still come out dark. No optical zoom means be happy with the size you caught it at because any digital zooming on this camera and pictures become dull and fragmented. ****Biggest issue with this camera is that it took forever to capture the image. up to 5 seconds that the subject would need to hold still. With kids this is not an option.Also this is a 2.1 megapixel camera that through software enhanced digital interpolation becomes 3.1 megapixel. Very tricky.

  Duration of ownership: 6 Months

  Strengths: Small size.

  Weaknesses:Buildings and any straight-line object show as a wave or a curve. Had this problem with the original camera and the replacement. Serial# for both cameras start with X434.

  Overall Evaluation: Returned the camera for replacement after 4 weeks. No problem with getting RMA. But Mustek policy is not to replace the product for at least 6 weeks for "customer protection". After 7 weeks I've sent email asking when will my camera be replaced and got this boiler plate email. "We apologize for any inconvenience. However, we are still testing your product to make sure that your new camera is not defective. Please expect your camera within one to two weeks. Thank you for your patience and understanding." I responded with the following: "After almost 2 months of waiting I'm out of patience and understanding. How many cameras do you have to test before you find one that works?? I expect to receive either camera or $132 refund by COB April 16, 2004." Got the replacement camera within a week. All straight lines still show as curves. Otherwise the camera performs well for the product in this price range. Would never buy Mustek product again. Bad customer service and poor warranty.

  Strengths: Very good little camera. Good for beginners. Easy to use.

  Weaknesses:No flash for dark areas. Does auto adjust somewhat.

  Overall Evaluation: Very easy to use camera for still shots and videos. Have enjoyed using it and is a very handy size as will fit in shirt pocket also very lite weight.
