  Duration of ownership:

  Strengths: Extremely well made - solid.

  Weaknesses:The people who wrote the instructions definitely believe that pictures are worth a thousand words - a bit hard to follow.

  Overall Evaluation: I bought this monitor to use with my Samsung 226BW and it has no problem supporting it. The arm installed quickly and adjusted quickly. I had to increase the tension a bit to support the weight but that was easy to do once I found the right page in the instructions.

  Strengths: Solid, easy to assemble

  Overall Evaluation: These are great, I use one at home and work. The arms are solid with tabs to string your cables on for a clean look. I have a 23" monitor that weighs around 16 lbs and I had to tighten the set screw for the tilt almost all the way. The directions are easy to use, just look at the pictures. These really free up desk space.

  Strengths: High quality. Allows you to adjust the monitor to where you want and give you extra room.

  Weaknesses:Black color is not true black. Expensive.

  Overall Evaluation: This is a nice quality LCD arm. Its mostly steel with a few plastic parts. I purchased this for my Samsung 226bw (22" LCD Monitor). I purchased it for $115 shipped, which was a good price, but still expensive in my opinion.The directions are a little odd. Its almost all pictures, and very little to no words. I could follow most of it easily except a few parts that some wording would have helped. Also, the wrench that comes with it is not very good if you need to remove the bolts, I had to get my own wrench which worked (the bolts are on very tight).It can be installed two ways. Either using the attached clamp to your desk. Or what I did, which was removing the clamp and drilling a hole approximately the size of the bolt through the table (just have to make sure you drill it level and not crooked, if you drill it crooked you can just make the hole bigger so you can adjust it.After I had it installed and put my monitor on the arm, it sunk down to my desk. So I just used the included tool to adjust the tension for up/down and it works great now.I'm happy with it, as it lets me move my monitor where I want. Plus you have a lot of extra room on your desk because there is no stand in the way beneath it.Its not true black as its labeled. Its more like a dark charcoal gray color. I would have preferred it pure black as that is what color my LCD is. But it still looks good, and feels/moves like high quality.

  Strengths: Smooth, looks good, good instructions. Very maneuverable. Comes with an adapter for different types of monitor mounts. Price.

  Overall Evaluation: This is a great monitor arm at a great price. The monitor arm mechanism is smooth. You can adjust it to any position you want and it stays. The instructions are very good.

  Strengths: It's design is very solid and the movement is smooth. I have a medium-heavy 17.6 lbs(a good 15lbs without the stand) lcd. I also like the metal constuction.

  Weaknesses:They could have given a little more with the cable management, but it is there nonetheless.

  Overall Evaluation: I have owned this arm for about 3 months and have been very happy with it. It supports a 20.1 wide-screen hp lcd (2005fpw) with no problem. It's smooth and stable and doesn't seem to sag over time. There is nothing worse than buying a poorly made product. On the contrary, this product is WELL made and I would buy it again.CONTRIBUTE TO THE PRODUCT-REVIEW SPACE ON THE WEB AND ENABLE SMARTER CONSUMERISM.
