Duration of ownership: 7 Months
Strengths: Plenty of inputs / Great picture, no complaints / Very Good PIP / Easy menu to navigate
Weaknesses:Cheap Remote, #1,2 and 3 broke after a few days, also buttons on remote are placed in a weird way that doesn't feel normal
Overall Evaluation: I bought this LCD as an "Open Box" purchase. 'Til this day, the TV has not let me down. I have thrown pretty much everything I can think of at it and it has passed every test with flying colors. I chose this TV from the rest of the 27" and smaller LCD's because of its price and inputs. I use my XBOX 360 with VGA inputs (1360x768), PC w/ DVI (1366x768), PS3 w/ HDMI (720p) and HDTV Comcast Cable w/ Component (1080i). The only thing this TV does not have is 1080p; which I believe to be overrated.

Strengths: Great picture, numerous input connections, easy to navigate menus.
Weaknesses:Remote does not control other devices, Poor placement of TV buttons (Hard to reach above TV when wall mounted), TV cannot be turned on by remote when the TV power switch is off.
Overall Evaluation: I bought this TV to be wall mounted in my Bedroom, and it functions well for its intended purpose. The Picture is excellent and bright, I have no problems watching TV in broad daylight, even though the TV is oposite my window. The Menu system is fast and easy to navigate. The are a lot of inputs including HDMI and DVI, so the TV will accept pretty much anything you want to plug into it. I've used it as a PC monitor using the DVI input and it was acceptable. I didn't play any intensive games on it and the webpage were hard to read from about 8ft away on my bed, so I ended up just using my laptop. Things that I would like done differently, I guess the cons of this unit are: The Remote control does not control other devices, which sucks because my Toshiba DVD player is the same and I had to buy a universal remote to control both. Also, the main power switch on the top of the TV completely turns the TV off, meaning you can't turn it back on with the remote, which is sometimes annoying. They should have a main power switch and a soft power switch on the front. The location of the TV buttons above the TV is inconvenient too since I mounted it on the wall about 4 ft up. The biggest annoyance is the loud static noise the TV generates when I change channels when I have the TV plugged into computer multimedia speakers. I had my Cambridge soundworks PC works multimedia speakers plugged into the headphone out jack, but everytime I changed channels, there's a loud static noise. Overall though, I'm still pretty happy with the TV. The picture is great through standard cable, I haven't tried HDTV cable yet. the built-in speakers are adequate and there are covers over the connectors behind the TV to hide the clutter. Hey, the most important thing about TVs is their picture quality, and this thing delivers in that respect, but it's nowhere near perfect. Can't really complain since I got this for $499 + tax from CompUSA.

Strengths: Inexpensive well known panel
Weaknesses:Not happy with picture quality
Overall Evaluation: I bought this TV for a lesser used space. I saved quite a bit over the Sony 26XBR I lusted after but couldn't justify the almost double cost. This will do but I'm hesitant to recommend it for a highly used area. No ammount of adjusting could make the picture look acceptable due to blockiness, even in HD.
