    Duration of ownership: 10 Days

    Strengths: ac & dc (haven't tested the cigarette lighter plug though), folding plug.

    Weaknesses:holds batteries a bit lose, hard to insert battery while plugged into wall.

    Overall Evaluation: So far, I've charged 2 different generic battery 'brands' (2 from 'supermart' & 2 from 'titan/expert computer' as well as the oem battery from canon without problems. But, I haven't charged more than ~10x total & haven't used the cigarette lighter adapter, so I can't say anything about that. Batteries aren't held as firmly as in the oem charger, but doesn't affect charging so far.

    Strengths: It is the original part build by Canon and it worked like it should.

    Weaknesses:None.

    Overall Evaluation: We lost the one we got with our camera and we decide to go with the real stus and not with OEM or white box stuff.For a few more bucks you get the piece of mind you are looking for.

    Strengths: Compact, Simple

    Weaknesses:None.

    Overall Evaluation: I lost the charger that came with my Powershot S30, and bought this one to replace it. This model is slightly different, but it is compatable and even smaller than my original one. Another bonus, though the one I lost (the CB-2LT) is also available on-line, it costs more than this model. There are other cheaper chargers out there, but most of them are designed to charge multiple battery models and have slots and leads all over them. This one is a little more pricey, but it is small and simple. Highly Recommended!
