Strengths: Great sound clarity, reverse design cabinet, real wood look
Weaknesses:I suppose it could be smaller
Overall Evaluation: I replaced an old HTIB center speaker with this CSi3 and am definitely satisfied. Granted I\\\'m not an audiophile (I guess that goes without saying... see above reference to HTIB speakers), I am impressed with the sound quality. The size is a bit larger which is I suppose a downside, but I really like the reverse design cabinet which allows the speaker to be placed upside down to adjust to ear level. I paired this up with a pair of Polk R50\\\'s and it sounds pretty good. The cherry wood finish is much nicer than the R50. Although I suppose that may be a downside (not matching). However, given the choice, I\\\'d much rather have the finish of the CSi3 than the R50.

Strengths: Has the efficiency of a home theater system and yet it is only one small unit.
Weaknesses:None
Overall Evaluation: Since the sound system in almost all TV's is not as good as a theater system and yet one does not want to clog a bedroom with such a system, I found the Polk Center Channel Speaker as a great substitute. Excellent sound and yet relatively small speaker.

Strengths: Great sound for the price.
Weaknesses:For $100 more, you can get so much better.
Overall Evaluation: I got these because they were on sale - these sport decent sized drivers, and a pretty good albeit bright tweeter. The sound on these seems to be thrown out, not expanded out like the LSi Polk series..which could be a plus or a minus...but were a plus for me.

Strengths: Sound clarity and accuracy. Slim low profile design. Price.
Weaknesses:Lack of bass.
Overall Evaluation: I?ve nerve had a center channel speaker before, and did not realize the importance of the center speaker until I hooked up all the speakers. In most listening modes, a significant portion of the sound come from the center speaker. Due to my budget constraint, I did not go with the CSi5, which is the recommended matching center channel speaker for the RTi 10 tower I have. Paid $99 plus shipping from Onecall.com, almost $200 cheaper than the CSi 5. Sound was clear and accurate, but lack of bass. The profile is low, and it can be easily placed under my flat screen TV.

Strengths: excellent choice for center channel speaker
Weaknesses:would be nice if a bit smaller
Overall Evaluation: I struggled w/ selecting surround sound speakers. Local retailer suggested a much more expensive Polk Audio . After reviewing the very positive user feedback on the PA website, I selected these. The sound coming from this unit is excellent. They are attractive, well packaged, and deliver what I expected. I kind of wish it was a bit smaller, but that is more related to my installation.
