Weaknesses:Not truly 1 TB, but rather 2 drives in one. That means occasional problems with drive recognition and yep, you guessed it overheating...Host of usb and firewire problemsEither dead or dying right
Overall Evaluation: Obviously whoever wrote the first review was a fake poster. C'mon, 1 tb worth of documents? You'll never need that much. More so a promotional gab. I bought this thinking that it would be competent. I was the fool.

Strengths: Space for 1 TB worth of files

Overall Evaluation: My OneTouch III hard drive is so reliable. I can count on it to safely store 1 TB worth of documents especially confidential ones. This is because it has the power to store, back up and secure everything I put on it. It's a good investment on my part.

Strengths: Size. RAID 1
Weaknesses:Maxtor. Dead after 1 month.
Overall Evaluation: I have owned many Maxtor drives. Owning 6 Personal storage drives. All of them have died on both PC's and Mac. I felt safer buying this drive because it offers Raid 1. Thank goodness. One drive died. Maxtor did replace the drive and I was able to retain my data but I will never buy a maxtor again.
