    Strengths: It's Thin, It has a Keyboard, the Keyboard is backlit to use in the dark, and pretty good Wireless abilities for both Bluetooth and WiFi, Good processor speed.

    Weaknesses:Can't upgrade to Pocket PC 2003 Second Edition!! The 4 Way navigation button is too small causing you to easily tap the center button when you are trying to navigate.

    Overall Evaluation: It's just a simple fact... You can input data faster and more of it easier with a thumb board or keyboard than with just a stylus alone. If you're looking for Pocket PC with the built in Keyboard then the 4350 and 4355 currently is your only choice with out going to a Pocket PC smart phone. Since the 4350 and the 4355 is currently your only choice, than at least you wont be disappointed. I have been using mine for over a year. Even though the OS can't be upgraded to PPC 2003 SE, and now there are new PPC being shipped with Windows Mobile 5.0 the 4350 can still hold it's weight and still be used as a very productive tool, whether for business or personal use. The 4350 has a good solid feel to it. The battery is replaceable and swappable. The Docking station, (though weakly deigned in my opinion) is functional if you have a spare battery because the battery can be charged while you are also charging your 4350. The 4350 has a decent speaker volume and a good built in microphone to record. After a year of heavy use on the keyboard, all the buttons still function like new and none of the letters on the keys have worn off. Though I keep the 4350 in a case, it has held up very well with no scratch, unlike other PDAs I had that began to wear down in the case over time. I've used Bluetooth on the 4350 to sync to my laptop and play music through Bluetooth headphones and WiFi to hit the internet in hotspots. The Screen though only 3.5 inches diagonally, the screen is bright and clear and good to watch movies, despite some of the earlier reviews of the screen having a yellow tint which only appears this way when looking at the screen from certain angles, not straight on. Though the 4350 only has 64 megs of memory if managed well with an SD card it will be more than enough. The 4350 is fast with it's 400mhz processor and has never left me waiting outside it?s normal operations.Even though the 4350 has an older OS by today?s comparison it is still very solid and well developed and has never reset on me that I can recall unless I was screwing around with known flakey software. If I were in the market for a PDA with a keyboard today with all the newer PDAs coming out (now 2 generations newer than the 4350), I'd still choose it since it is beyond functional and offers something which no other current PDA has... The built in Keyboard.

    Strengths: Size, weight, resolution, capabilities and features

    Weaknesses:Still a little pricey

    Overall Evaluation: I was surprised at the weight of this little unit in comparison to its earlier relatives. Great speed and screen, lots of apps, very versatile. Pocket PC is a pretty good little operating system and it comes with encryption software and the ability to be locked down which is important in a mobile product. Quick to set up and sync with a desktop although haven't had the chance to check out the wireless configuration yet. Much preferred over a Palm Pilot.

    Strengths: Thin and light.Fast.Excellent keyboard.Best display I've ever seen on a PDA.

    Weaknesses:Scant case availability.New synch cradle design is not as easy as the cradle for the iPAQ 54xx series.Missing the great side-mounted volume control found on the 54xx series.

    Overall Evaluation: This iPAQ 4355 replaced my broken iPAQ 5455. I have to say that parting with my 5455 was sweet sorrow. I had used it for about a year and a half and was pleased with it's performance. It was bulky, especially with an expansion pack and extended battery attached but it performed well. Then, I dropped it. It wasn't a fantastic fall, just a little one but big enough to damage the main board and render the up volume switch useless. Enter the 4355: Although some of the accessories I had purchased and used with my 5455 became obsolete the moment I bought the 4355, I decided to opt for it anyway instead of hunting down a used 54xx on eBay. There is a dearth of accessories for the 43xx models but, undaunted, I have used the unit for a week and am quite satisfied with it. It has a gorgeous display and the keyboard is quite useful. I preferred the popup stylus on the 5455 but this one works. The synch cradle is a little weird. The unit has to be firmly seated in the cradle to connect. When I had my 5455, it slid nicely into the cradle, using gravity and the weight of the iPAQ to make the connection. The 4355 runs the Windows Mobile OS at a seemingly higher speed than my 5455 did. Everything runs seamlessly and without fail.

    Duration of ownership: 20 Days

    Strengths: Very thin, good battery strength, very good screen resolution, WI-FI sniffs out networks well. Internet works reasonably quick at 11 mbps with the 400mz processor.

    Weaknesses:A little tall with keyboard, but it is worth it for the convienence.

    Overall Evaluation: Very happy with product. The charging stand has been greatly improved since the 2215. Advent go is included and works well, as well it includes Adobe PDF reader that can be installed from the included CD. It is amazing how many places you can pickup a wireless network. No complaints at all. I will no longer tote my laptop along on short trips just to check my email.

    Strengths: Great screen clarity, built in keyboard, relatively small size even with keyboard.

    Weaknesses:A little longer/taller due to keyboard, bluetooth has been a little tricky to get up and running.

    Overall Evaluation: Great PDA, and one that really goes a long way to incorporate all of the best features currently available. WI-FI works great and Microsoft Pocket PC 2003 has some really nice features. I have been a long time Palm OS user and I had no problem picking up the Pocket PC operating system. Probably the best endorsement I can give the HP h4350 is that when my wife (also a long time Palm user) took a look at mine, she decided to switch, as well, and we now own two 4350's!
