  Duration of ownership: 2 Months

  Strengths: It works, reasonably large charge, was the right model

  Weaknesses:Seems to suddenly lose charge at random. The charge doesn't always last as long as it should.

  Overall Evaluation: I know that buying a battery from lenovo would cost around 170 dollars, but at least that one would work as expected. Unless you really think you can live with this battery occasionally losing its charge, get an actual lenovo battery. This might just be a problem with this battery or maybe all non-lenovo batteries are just poorly made, I'm not sure. All, I know is, I wouldn't buy it again.

  Overall Evaluation: The 8 cell battery lasts much longer than the slim version of the 4 cell. Under windows XP with regular programs and WIFI, it lasts about 5 hours 30 minutes or more. I have been using my laptop with the battery for a few weeks and so far so good. One disadvantage of the product is the size. After the battery installation, my X61s is a little bigger than before (and heavier). So consider the trade off when purchasing the battery.

  Overall Evaluation: This is make your X60 last longer on your flights/trips. I'm able to operate 6 - 7 hrs on my X60 without charging. Don't add much weight to the laptop. Overall another great product.
