Strengths: Once set up and connected, the product provided a seamless transfer device from tape to DVD media.
Weaknesses:Very weak instruction manual. Read very carefully.
Overall Evaluation: Using S-video connection I was able to capture a very clean image from my VCR to my PC hard disk. Once on the hard disk I was able to burn the images using NERO 8 software. I must state that the copy is only as good as the original it is copying so do not expect a better image because it has been transferred to a DVD. But unlike a tape to tape copy where you lose quality in the translation, using the DAZZLE DVD Recorder will give you a faithful and true copy of whatever media it processes.
