    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: It works very well, USB powered, works with any regular phone

Weaknesses:Need to install the latest software

Overall Evaluation: After installing the latest software that is labeled for Windows Vesta, the devices works without any problem. Since it is USB-powered, it saves an extra slot on my already crowded power bar. I tried the 3-way conference with a regular phone line. It works! I am quite impressed with that. With the small size, it fits very well on my desk.

Strengths: Easy to setup, Good sound quality, make Skype almost seamless

Weaknesses:Needs to be connected to a computer (standalone would be much cooler), Made by D-Link (who tends to produce some problem products)

Overall Evaluation: If you are a big Skype fan and/or purchased the Skype unlimited outgoing calls plan, this device is for you. It is easy to setup and will allow you to make Skype calls via your normal telephone. The nice part is that you are no longer chained to your computer via a headset. (Of course, you could use a wireless headset to give some mobility. But this is even more flexible because any phone can now be a Skype phone.) The biggest downside for me is that it is made by D-Link. Their track record is my eyes in rather marginal. They produce nice products that only last a short time. So far, this product is working well, but I'll be keeping an eye on it to see how it does over time. If you are not scared of D-Link and enjoy Skype, definitely buy this device. Even if you are scared of D-Link, like me, it is a fun device to play with for a long as it lasts.

Strengths: easy install. works ok. easily connect your skype remotely.

    Weaknesses:sometimes sound is not clear.

Overall Evaluation: I bought this for the skype in my laptop and it works ok. it is easily to be installed following the manual with the product. It is a very useful stuff to combine this adapter with skype. You can easily control skype remotely, very convenient. You can also make Skype call from your phone. But one point I want to mention here you should not expect the sound quality is as good as your cell phone or land line. sometimes, the sound is not quite clear.

    Duration of ownership:

    Strengths: unknown

    Weaknesses:driver issues

Overall Evaluation: I may have received a dud but my adapter wouldn't work correctly. Dropped calls, missed calls, etc. I have seen mixed reviews online. Those who can get it to work absolutely love it, but there seem to be a handful of people out there who received very buggy adapters. I'm sending this one back.

Strengths: FREE calling as long as you have skype account. No need to stay in front of computer to talk.Easy install.

    Weaknesses:I don't know yet>

Overall Evaluation: It is convenient while student like me study oversea who no need to spend whole lot of money on the phone bill. Usually, we have to stay in front of comp. to chat. With this adapter, it would be movable all around the house doing some cleaning things~ Suggest it for people who have international talking and their parents don't know about computer but still can save money!!
