    Duration of ownership: 2 Months

Strengths: Great Range. Can cover my 2800 Sq. Ft home easily and I can even get signal near my upper floor bedroom which always had problem with my Super G product.

Weaknesses:Needed to upgrade to latest firmware. Took just 2 minutes though

Overall Evaluation: I recently moved to a new home and was facing connectivity problems - intermittent connections, dropped connections and dead spots. I got the Gig edition of RangeMax NEXT from Netgear. Super fast speeds... close distance speeds of over 100 MBps. No dropped skype calls from any part of my house... this worked great. I had downloaded several vacation videos on my desktop PC in my study. I video streamed them to my daughter's laptop without any problems. I say guys go and get it.. WiFi has reached yet another level of performance, range and reliability!

Strengths: Fast and good Wireless Connection

Weaknesses:Works great for a few months then dies....4th unit now

Overall Evaluation: I bought one Feb 2007. I am now doing an RMA for the third time. A Google search will show WNR854T Green ring of death. Verified it is not power or network. Also have to reboot the router about every 3 weeks. I can

    Duration of ownership:

    Strengths: Cheaper than Linksys

Weaknesses:Connection drops on my PS3, Couldn\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t even connect with my Wireless G laptop.

Overall Evaluation: I bought this on recommendation from the salesman at Fry\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s and because it was $40 cheaper than the Linksys 350N. Hooked it up and immediately noticed that the admin software is incredible slow.. Each update takes a couple minutes to take effect.More importantly, when gaming online with my PS3, the connection dropped every 10 minutes. This NEVER happened before with my Linksys Wireless G router.I couldn\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t even connect my Dell laptop to the network at all. I have NEVER had a problem connecting to a wireless network with my laptop.Complete crap.. I returned it to Fry\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s and got the Linksys 350N, and was up and running in no time. No dropped connections, and the I\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'m composing this review on the very laptop that couldn\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t connect to the Netgear router.

    Duration of ownership: 2 Weeks

Strengths: Good range, fast, gigabit connections

    Weaknesses:None so far

Overall Evaluation: Very good router for the price. Haven't had the chance to try out the Wireless N capabilities, but the G seems very fast. Got a good deal on it, so it's serving its purpose well.

    Duration of ownership: 7 Months

Strengths: Fast wired connections as well as wireless.

Weaknesses:minimum one minute wait with every change in settings, PRODUCT DIES AFTER 7 MONTHS.

Overall Evaluation: I loved this when I first received it. Setup was easy but annoying due to the 1 minute wait with every change in settings. With the latest firmware, I never lost the wireless connection. The speed was phenominal. Unfortunately, the unit died. I searched in the Netgear forums for similar issues and found MANY. Apparently there is a defect with the product. Even replacement products die after the same period. I just fought with tech support to get an RMA and to have them pay all the shipping (to/from). I totally expect the replacement unit to die within 7 months at which time it will be out of warranty and I'll need to spend more money to buy another product. This is a terrible investment!!! Go with something different!!!
