Strengths: Excellent phone, easy to handle, very stong reception, just AWESOME
Weaknesses:while talking not loud enough, even on the loudest setting sometimes it's hard to hear the other party.
Overall Evaluation: I think Nokia is the best brand out there if we talk about cell phones. They make very reliable and easy to handle, quality cell phones, I'd not buy any other brand. I owned other brands before but I always came back to Nokia.

Strengths: The screen, Wifi, presence of the keyboard, quad band, size.
Weaknesses:Typing not as fast as 6800/e70; missing some small features (timed profiles), doesn't seem to be quick or intuitive as the Palm OS. (But it seems like Palm is not really trying anymore.)
Overall Evaluation: I searched for quite a while before taking the plunge with the e61. I had a Nokia 6800 and a Palm T3 and both were on their last legs so I had to make a switch. Overall I am very happy. The keys on the keyboard are closer together than on the 6800 so typing is slightly slower but I expect it will improve some with use. The screen and the wifi however are amazing. I think $40/month for unlimited mobile data is ridiculous so I will work only off the wifi for now. I am not sure that I would settle for the e62 (w/o wifi). I've gotten the Mail for Exchange to work (try using the installed version, rather than the latest version on the web) and that's great. 2gb capacity on the mini-sd means lots of music and podcasts. The speakerphone is wonderful. If you want better text inputting and don't care about the smaller screen and only 3 bands, then you might want to check out the e70. But if viewing is more important the bigger qvga screen on the e61 is great.

Strengths: EXCELLENT PHONE!!
Weaknesses:NONE
Overall Evaluation: THIS PHONE IS EXCELLENT! THE BATTERY LIFE IS LONG, USER INTERFACE IS EXCEPTIONAL, STABLE SYSTEM, EVERYTHING IS GREAT! JUST NEEDS A LITTLE WHILE TO GET USED TO THE MENUS AND BUTTONS, APART FROM THAT, THE PHONE WILL DO WONDERS AND MIRACLES FOR DAILY PHONE USE, WEB BROWSING, TEXT MESSAGING, RSS FEEDS, PLAYING MP3 FILES..ETC.

Strengths: Great design, easy to use
Weaknesses:None
Overall Evaluation: Having finally seen the E61, I can confidently predict that this will be the must-have executive gadget for 2006. If it works as well as Nokia promises, and the signs are good, then our friends from Finland will have a hit on their hands as big as Motorola's RAZR. Moreover, with all the ho ha about Blackberry's patent dispute case, quite a few companies have started to consider alternative systems, such as the brick-like Nokia's 9300i, loosening Blackberry's hold on the market. (Big mistake by RIM not to reach an agreement faster.) Most notably, Nokia's E61 supports multiple push email software systems - in addition to Blackberry's own software. The E61 comes with the latest edition Symbian mobile operating system, which is reliable and has an attractive, intuitive user interface. As a result of Nokia's co-operation with Microsoft during 2005, the E61 will also sync with Outlook seamlessly - a big plus for corporate users. The really impressive thing about the E61 is that it is an excellent mobile phone as well as a great mobile email platform. It finally means that one gadget will finally perform both functions brilliantly, avoiding the need to carry around both a Blackberry and a phone. You'll also be able to surf the web and the E61 will support other 3G applications depending on local market availability.Nokia has clearly designed this phone with business users in mind. Materials and build quality are second to none. The screen is gorgeous with 16 million colors and an ambiant light sensor that adjusts brightness automatically. The key board is well laid-out and has a slighty better feel the Blackberry 8700. Using the E61's phone or email functions is simple and intuitive, with Nokia's traditional call buttons placed exactly where you would expect to find them. It has been very well thought-out by designers who clearly know what they're doing.Bluetooth makes in-car use a no-brainer. Emails are easy to read and attachments can be readily accessed. The delay in Nokia announcing this model and its market launch is because greater functionality has been added in this area. In short, it is difficult to criticse the E61. Battery life could be an issue. Some people may prefer the key board of the Nokia 9300i. But all things considered, the E61 does everything corporate users could wish for. The functionality and form factor make it intensely desirable. Nokia may have been late to market with such a device, but boy oh boy, is it making up for lost time with a slick, beautifully designed pice of hardware that shouts: gotta have it!

Strengths: Solid design. Slim. Packed with features.A very stable OS.
Weaknesses:Number pad layout is a little difficuly to get used to.No camera. The voice recorder gets in the way (its on the side of the phone). There is no way to disable it or atleast I couldn't.
Overall Evaluation: Unlike the HP and TREO or Windows Mobile Phones, this phone has excellent phone reception. This is infact a phone + pda. Nokia certainly paid attention to detail and unlike others which concentarate on the pda features and lack good phone reception or features, nokia has done an excellent job on both.
