    Duration of ownership:

    Strengths: Compact, good price point.

    Weaknesses:There is no filter thread in front of the lens to attach a filter.

    Overall Evaluation: The lens is well made with a solid construction. The body color of this lens compliments the silver trim on my camcorder.Good wide angle coverage as it provided me with more environmental space than normal.

    Strengths: light weight. silver color looks good.

    Weaknesses:nothing special

    Overall Evaluation: I have ever used Wide angle lens for analog Sony camcorder. From such a experience, I can tell this lens is satisfactory to me within a limited budget, which means "0.6x wide" is not so wide as I have expected.
