    Duration of ownership: 1 Years

Strengths: Low cost per page at a very affordable price.

    Weaknesses:Not network compatable

Overall Evaluation: I've had the printer for a year, and print about 20k pages a month. I'm ordering a second one today. I'm still on the same drum, which was the expense I was most leary about. You can simply reset the drum setting and conitnue using it. I order remanufactured toner cartridges from yourcartridges dot com, which saves a bundle.

Strengths: Fast and reliable printer. Easy to set up and configure on network. Duplex printing built into the device.

Weaknesses:Any tests must be run from the host computer, not from the device itself. Packaging of the drum unit/toner.

Overall Evaluation: This printer set up quickly and easily. I connected the printer to my print server, configured and shared out the printer on my file server without any problems and was printing from different PCs on my network in no time. The duplex printing capability has proved helpful on several occasions thus far. Adding additional memory was not too difficult. The first 50 or so pages I printed were somewhat light, but I attribute that to the toner not being shaken up before installing it in the printer (The toner was already loaded into the drum unit and I was reluctant to try and shake up the toner before installing it into the printer). After the first print jobs, the printing darkened to the level it should print at. My only complaint is that there is no way to run any printer tests from the printer itself. In order to verify the memory was recognized by the printer, I had to hunt around in the printer properties in Windows to find the test printout that I needed the printer to run. All in all, I would recommend this printer to anyone based on its cost and features. Tremendous bang for the buck!!

    Duration of ownership: 2 Months

Strengths: Easy setup and configuration. Very fast printing speed. Automatic switch between paper trays.

    Weaknesses:None so far.

Overall Evaluation: Great deal and great printer. The print speed is high and warm-up time is minimal. The extra paper tray is very hand for larger jobs and keeps the print job going while additional paper is found. System works great and I would buy another one if an additional printer was needed.
