Duration of ownership: 18 Months
Strengths: Works every time I plug it in. Bought the machine almost 2 years ago and still using the toner it came with - granted, I donât use it everyday. It makes very sharp copies. I also like the ability to print reports.
Weaknesses:none
Overall Evaluation: I like KX-FL511 very much. I have not experienced any problem at all. I would buy it again. Next time I will buy the one that is also a printer, that way; I can use it as a standby laser printer. Overall, I give the machine 5 stars

Strengths: Simplicity of storing phone numbers
Weaknesses:Transmission report, space occupied.
Overall Evaluation: The transmission report merely shows that a fax was sent to a certain number at a certain time -- not legally sufficient for those of us who must document WHAT was sent. Our prior Brother machine showed more detail, and reprinted about 2/3 of the first page of the fax on the transmission report. Also, beware of the misleading photo and published dimensions. Both omit the large pan for the output of faxes, which more than doubles its footprint.

Duration of ownership: 2 Years
Strengths: 20 page load, clean copies
Weaknesses:breaks down - slim warranty - expensive toner
Overall Evaluation: I used to like Panasonic products, but this fax machine has lasted me exactly 28 months before it broke beyond repair. Everything else works but the paper feeder. It costs too much to repair. Plus I have 2 paid-for cartridges to throw away. I'm not buying a new Panasonic, no way, no how.

Weaknesses:the toner is way too expensive
Overall Evaluation: i have always used plain paper fax, but always in ink. laser is the king. faxed pages are so clean, just like laser printouts. however, i checked the price for the toner, i am a little concerned.
