  Strengths: -Connects easily-Includes ethernet/phone protection-Ensures that you are always surge protected vs the wall protectors

  Weaknesses:-Bulky--bascially doubles the size of your battery-Slides back and forth on battery--velco only holds on, not in place

  Overall Evaluation: Overall a fairly effective product. While I have not had the occasion to test whether it will actually protect when it needs to, I have to assume the company knows what they are doing and that it will blow the protector before blowing my laptop. As it is in line with your power supply, it ensures that you always plug in your laptop with surge protection vs the ones that plug into the wall first and then you plug in your laptop (laziness can sometimes creep in that one time could be the last time). The added bonus of phone/ethernet protection are just icing on the cake (you'll need two cables of each for this feature to work), although many people probably use wireless these days with their laptops. Overall a good product for the money and protection it provides.
