Duration of ownership:
Strengths: Clean movement; Long battery life per charge; buttons are smooth and work well.
Weaknesses:Stiff Forward/Back buttons
Overall Evaluation: Have had this mouse for a little over a month and am super pleased with it. Though it is rated lower end dpi, my gaming has actually improved over old mouse as it is still a faster mouse with better accuracy. Other than a couple of the buttons being stiff, which will probably work out with use, the mouse has been an exceptional buy and i would recommend to anyone looking for a good wireless mouse. Have had no connectivity issues at all and battery life is phenomenal per charge, even for one that spends hours a day on the computer.

Strengths: desing, looks, confort
Weaknesses:battery life, recharge system control sucks
Overall Evaluation: I had this mouse for a month, its the third Logitec mouse I had, it work for the first charge fine. After the fists charge it never again got fully charged. I seems to me that recharge internal control its wrong, so no real charge control occurs or something else. The customer service is terrible. I also had a problem with last logitec keyboard. I think the quality control has gone week... I switch brand.

Strengths: NONE
Weaknesses:1) battery sucks2) charger unit leaves a lot to be desired.
Overall Evaluation: This mouse is a waste of money. Battery life stinks, doesn't charge half the time when you put it in the unit. It is totally unsuitable for folks who are in graphic design--mainly because precision is needed. Something this mouse does not do.The battery is shot again after 2 hours of use.doc

Duration of ownership:
Strengths: Comfortable, tons of buttons
Weaknesses:Prone to interference, poor battery life, finicky wheel,
Overall Evaluation: At first glance, the mouse looks amazing. It contours nicely to your hand and the buttons are all placed within comfortable reach. The options you have to program the button functions are very nice too. There is little delay in responsiveness compared to many other mouses I've used. Functionally, my only disappointment lies with the mouse wheel. The free spin mode is a great feature, but certain programs don't work well with it (Adobe Acrobat is one). Also, scrolling down is a lot slower than scrolling up, though I believe this has been done on purpose in order to increase accuracy when scrolling down quickly. All in all, however, the concept behind this mouse is very nice. This mouse isn't, however, free of plagues; some of which really made me think about whether this purchase was worth it. My main concern is with the receiver. My computer is under my desk, and when plugged into either the front or back USB ports, the mouse becomes very erratic. That is, there is so much interference that it literally becomes unusable under any circumstance (posts of this problem swarms the Logitech forums, along with battery issues which I will get to later). I am now using a USB hub on my desk to reduce the distance between the receiver and the mouse (though one of my hubs wouldn't work with the receiver). The mouse is now no more than 6 inches from the receiver, but I STILL experience occasional interference. Though it is now usable, it still is unacceptable for gaming.Another problem is with the battery. Not only is the battery life very short (lasts barely a week on a full charge of regular usage--4-5 hours of browsing... no gaming... a day), charging is often an issue as well. The first time I tried to recharge after use, it kept giving me errors. I had to use the mouse until the battery completely died before it would recharge again (the forums, again, are full of posts regarding this issue), though I've not had that problem repeat itself. This mouse has so much potential to live up to its hype. The idea behind the mouse is great and would've been the single best mouse if not for such flaws in the fundamentals of wireless hardware. My $20 wireless mouse did not have these problems, why does this $100 one have them? If you're in the market for nice mouses AND your computer setup is such that your desktop is close to where you would be using the mouse, consider this mouse. If you're looking for a gaming mouse or a mouse that won't give you any headaches, pass on this one.

Duration of ownership: 5 Days
Strengths: Amazing set of features. Customizable buttons for every program you desire. Many buttons. Dual scroll wheels. Wireless. Nice LED battery charging status. Battery indicator.
Weaknesses:Somewhat pricey, free-spin feature broke after 2-3 months, lags from time to time.
Overall Evaluation: Somewhat pricey (I paid $70 for this January 2007). But the biggest issues (as stated previously): the free-spin feature broke on mine now (after about 2-3 months) and the mouse seems to lag from time to time. Just stops working.Software is also a bit buggy. Sometimes when pulling out other USB devices, the USB receiver on this mouse also gets disabled. So I have to unplug and replug the USB receiver. Also, since I've reprogrammed many of my programs to have custom buttons, sometimes the scrolling doesn't work for the program. I resolve this by ALT+TABbing to another program and then back. And that seems to solve it usually.I'd recommend this mouse if the price was lower (~$50 or less) but don't expect it to be 100% perfect. The extra features are worth the tiny bugs (especially since I don't use the free-spin much).
