Duration of ownership: 18 Months
Strengths: Consistently Fast under any conditions. Stable and has ample grunt to overclock (be sure to upgrade cooling though). Uncookable (has BIOS controlled temp cutout)
Weaknesses:She gets a little warm with standard Intel CPU fan and heatsink.
Overall Evaluation: This CPU has provided the best longevity of any CPU I've owned (without overclocking) which is quite a feat given the exponential performance improvements over that period. Standard CPU fan & heatsink are only just adequate for 'normal' conditions. I highly recommend the minimal investment to keep this little monster cool (ARCTIC COOLING Super Silent 4 Ultra, Socket 478 or better still the ZALMAN CNPS7700-Cu). Would you buy a brand new Porsche Turbo for half price knowing it only needed 100 bucks to replace the dinky little radiator it had? I would. Each to their own - my wife wouldn't for example, she'd rather buy clothes and with a tight little body like hers, that's fine with me. Good luck & hope this was helpful.

Duration of ownership: 2 Months
Strengths: Fast
Weaknesses:None
Overall Evaluation: I had to rate 4 stars instead of 5 because there is always time for error. I have only had for 2 months. But as for now I have not had any problems.

Duration of ownership: 7 Days
Strengths: Fast. Stable at high speed.
Weaknesses:None found yet.
Overall Evaluation: I've been using P3 1GHz system for almost 4 years. I recently upgraded my system to this P4 3GHz. This is a prescott CPU and compared to Northwood CPU, it has twice more L2 cache and that means faster processing, especially in multimedia processing. I'm enjoying this new CPU.
