    Strengths: excellent sound quality, affordable, easy set-up, perfect size

    Weaknesses:couldn't find any

    Overall Evaluation: I've used Bose listening products for about 25 years. They never let me down when it comes to quality. This is the perfect set-up for me. I love to listen to music, but if the product doesn't have a quality sound, I won't listen to it. I hadn't been listening to my music collection on my computer because the speaker system that I'd purchased previously just didn't cut it. Now I can't turn it off.

    Strengths: Design, Sound.

    Weaknesses:Cost.

    Overall Evaluation: A bit on the pricey sound, but they have excellent bass and overall sound. The volume control and on/off piece is quite nice for a change. Can't say anything bad about these, but they could be cheaper.. but doesn't everyone wish.

    Strengths: richness of sound, compact size

    Weaknesses:speaker wires are not fully detachable.

    Overall Evaluation: I bought these speakers after doing some pretty thorough research on computer speakers. I wanted a basic set of speakers without a full 5.1 surround system (mainly for music). These speakers are great. The sound quality is fantastic and the bass really thumps without any distortion. If you are looking for a good set of speakers and are willing to pay a little extra (mine were $249), then get these. My only complaint (trivial) is that the wires are not detachable from the satellite speakers which limits the distance that they can be placed from the bass module.

    Duration of ownership:

    Strengths: Good deep and medium sounds.

    Weaknesses:The volume is not as loud as I wanted but will easily fill up a bedroom/office room for most situations.

    Overall Evaluation: I would like to know how to get a better price as most internet and bm stores will not negotiate on this item. I am well pleased with this purchase as related to quality of sound.

    Strengths: price and BIG sound for size of speaker

    Weaknesses:NONE so far

    Overall Evaluation: i use this to connect my ipod for working out...at first i couldn't believe that bose came out with a inexpensive companion speaker...very reasonable...great sound..even over the noise of my treadmill...plugs in VERY easily to computer/ipod/whatever....
