    Duration of ownership: 40 Days

Strengths: Small and Light weight,Big Display (240x320), 3.2 MP Carl Zeiss Camera,Battery life,Stereo Speakers,Sturdy Body.

    Weaknesses:Slow response of camera,No miniSDHC support,No WiFi.Useless Infrared

Overall Evaluation: The screen is bright enough with 5 levels of adjustment. I have installed DivX player for Symbian. With out any hitches plays the Divx files except that it should be converted to lower frame-rate and resolution. The applications pre-installed are very responsive. Due to stereo speakers sound volume is perfect.Nokia supplies a stereo headset that also acts as an antenna when you're listening to FM radio.Voice quality is excellent on both ends with crystal clear speakerphone. I found myself recharging the battery every 2 days.

Strengths: THAT CAMERA IS ABSOLUTELY GREAT AND IS BETTER THAN THE ONES ON THE NOKIA N93 AND NOKIA N95, BOTH OF WHICH I HAVE OWNED AND PREVIOUSLY TESTED. FOR YOUR MONEY YOU CANNOT BEAT THE BANG THIS PHONE GIVES.

Weaknesses:I ACTUALLY PREFER THIS PHONE OVER THE NOKIA N93 AND N95. THERE ARE NO WEAKNESSES.

Overall Evaluation: GREAT PHONE, GOOD AMOUNT OF MEMORY, PICTURES ARE CRYSTAL CLEAR EVEN AT LOWER MEGAPIXED SETTINGS. CAMERA HAS SO MANY OPTIONS YOU CAN'T HELP BUT GET A GOOD SHOT. CONSTRUCTION COULD BE A BIT MORE SOLID BUT THIS IS ALL I WOULD HAVE REGARDLESS OF PRICE.

Strengths: 3.2 MP camera on the back and lower resolution camera on the front for self portrait. Chinese text available. Expandable memory card. Radio and mp3 player.

Weaknesses:Slow to load screen. Not enough feature for alarm.

Overall Evaluation: Good camera capability with a nice large screen. But the camera does not have panoramic feature like some do. Able to listen to the radio and mp3. Expandable memory card to store more mp3 or short video clips. But really slow to load screen. The alarm clock only can be setup to ring once within 24 hours. Unlike my previous phone where I can choose which days to sound the alarm and repeat again on those days. Such as ringing on workdays and off on weekends.

Strengths: Very good 3.2mpx camera, very good 2.4" display, stable and functional O/S.

Weaknesses:Poor manufacturing quality, a horrible joystick, non-existing repair service.

Overall Evaluation: Nokia N73 is a good example of an excellent design plagued by poor implementation. The phone's integrated camera with Zeiss optics is probably the best in its class (until Sony K850i comes out), the display is large, sharp, with strong back-light, Symbian O/S is as functional as Windows Mobile, but more stable (no lost SMS messages or voice mail notifications, ever). Music player, as well as FM radio, sound quality is excellent, overall battery life is good. Feature-wise, the phone definitely looks like a keeper, however, the phone's manufacturing quality leaves a lot to be desired. The slide-on camera cover rattles, numeric keypad strangely squeaks under only moderate pressure, miniSD card slot plastic cover bends out easily, the entire device feels... FRAGILE. The joystick is horrible: not only too flat and too receded to be used comfortably even with slightest sweat on your fingers, but also went from "rigid" to "dead-stick" after (2) weeks of use, even though my fingers are usually quite delicate (used to play a classical guitar for some years). As of July 2007, Nokia has only one repair center in the U.S. and even though Nokia support is always very courteous and genuinely tries to help, they have been unable to produce a repaired or a replacement N73 within (45) days. Yes, forty-five. Unless things change considerably, consider repair service for N73 non-existent.

    Duration of ownership: 2 Weeks

Strengths: 3.2 megapixel camera. Large screen with strong backlight. Expandable memory. Quick recharge time.

    Weaknesses:A tad bit pricey.

Overall Evaluation: I bought this phone to replace my Ericsson k750i. Overall the N73 is a solid phone with plenty of bells and whistles. Battery life is very good and symbian o/s is relatively easy to use.
