    Overall Evaluation: In spite of the reviews we'd seen that this unit did a lot of shaking, we decided to go with this model. We got it NEW (not refurbished) at Brandsmart for $398!!! It took the installers less than 4 hours to install and looks as if it were always a part of the car. We haven't really seen any shaking that would be a problem... nothing more than you'd see in any other unit. We just got back from a long car trip yesterday, and our 9-year-old was able to handle just about every aspect of running the DVD player. When she couldn't, we were able to turn the monitor around 180 degrees so we could see the screen from the front seat and make the fixes ourselves. (Pretty darn cool, I think!) The headphones worked great as well. Absolutely no complaints... hope it'll last!

    Strengths: Wide Screen and 180 degree swivel

    Weaknesses:Block driver's rear view mirror but is acceptable

    Overall Evaluation: I have been playing with it for a year in my friend's Sienna. This was my new toy after buying our family van. Do not buy it from your local store! Is a total rip off! Check around the web and you can find it (out the door) under $500. I love the wide screen, the build in FM modulator, and the build in speakers. The 9" is perfect and the 180 degrees swivel is a plus. Do not install yourself! Pay the extra $100 to have a professional install it. It will save you many pain and bruised knuckles.

    Strengths: Very Nice Display, Clear Color & Resolution, Sony Brand Name, Good Prices ($399.99 at Fry's last month), Can Play MP3 from Recorded CD or from Memory Stick. Wireless Remote Controls

    Weaknesses:No remote Eye Sensor as Direct Electronic Brand so that you can control from the player from the drive seat. (You can point the wireless remote on the back to the over head to work(work-around)

    Overall Evaluation: Nice Memory Stick Slot Feature that can play mpg and mp3 or video...etc.. All the memory stick will work (Even the manual say only 256 MB or less and the memory stick duo or pro-dual won't work). For the smaller new style of memory stick like dual or pro-dual (Use the Memory Stick Adapter) will me it work. 1 GB Capacity works just fine too.

    Strengths: Plays DVD+/-R Recordable discs. Headphones works better than expected, not cheap looking. Built in speakers, FM modulator (a tad low, good enough to hear okay). Excellent picture quality!!

    Weaknesses:No built in dome light, could live with it, have two in my SUV already, couldn't find any weaknesses.

    Overall Evaluation: I read several reviews regarding the FM modulator and headphones. The FM modulator works great, it's a tad low, gives you an option too maximize the sound in the menu, adjusted works fine. Headphones are not cheap, sounds real good!! Great unit at a great price for a name brand.

    Strengths: Sharp picture, rotating monitor, and decent size monitor.

    Weaknesses:Too big and makes noise when it is off.

    Overall Evaluation: I noticed there is a noise even when the engine is turned off and there is no power to the player. Overall, I am very happy with the product. My kids like it and it serves the purpose very well.
