  Strengths: Very realistic(if you want it to be anyway). Big improvment from FS 2004.

  Weaknesses:Graphics intensive(Not really a bad thing). Huge game @ 15Gigs

  Overall Evaluation: I'm glad I picked this game up but I had to build a system around this game. I could not run this at a satisfying setting with my original PC when I could run 2004 at max res. A little to graphics heavy for the average consumer in my opinion. But after the upgrade(Core2,8800 GTS, and 4G of Dominator),all I can say is WOW.Visually stimulating to say the least.I found some whale's when I was flying around Hawaii :). Good times,great game.

  Strengths: Very good simulation. Good missons. Many plane selections. Easy to fly. Good graphics if you have the computer.

  Weaknesses:Needs many computer resorces. Slows computer when using it.

  Overall Evaluation: Very good product overall but you need lots of RAM and a good video card. I used to have 376 MB of RAM and it ran on minimal. Then I upgraded to 1.37 gigs and it runs on medium high. My video card is NVIDIA GeForce 6100. My CPU is an AMD Sempron 3100+ 1.81 GHz.

  Strengths: If you have a fast computer and graphics card, it will be great. Before I upgraded my PC, some areas (like Manhattan) would crash my video card.

  Weaknesses:I warn against installing the SP1 upgrade to this flight sim. Of course, many things are improved, but you lose the ability to look around 360 degrees unobstructed. After the patch, the aircraft blocks your view in any direction other than straight ahead. The download page doesn't warn you, even though I have advised them to do it. The developer gave me some workarounds but they didn't work well and I had to reinstall this very large program.

  Overall Evaluation: Most lilfelike flight sim yet.

  Strengths: Very realistic, you almost feel like you are flying a real plane. So many things you can tinker with in the cockpit. Scenery is absolutely superb. You can select the graphic settings to meet your computers speed, for this to be a great game, you really need a high speed computer. (I run 1GB)

  Weaknesses:Very large game (15GB) so loading takes a while but I put it on my external HD and my computer runs fine with max graphics.

  Overall Evaluation: Ive been playing flight sims since FS '95 and this by far tops all others. It recieved best simulation game of the year and it greatly deserves it. They are to release the expansion pack (acceleration) this fall and it looks to be the best expasion pack for any game (including multi-plane stunt shows and military planes). I would highly suggest getting this game for anyone who has any interest in planes or whoever wants a sweet graphics game.

  Strengths: With the right machine, it would be a superior product. Far exceding most expectations.

  Weaknesses:With the Right Machine is a big'in. More than a Gig of Memory, at least a 3 + Ghz machine and a video card that has at least a gig of memory. Not to mention 15 Gig of surplus disk space.

  Overall Evaluation: I have been flying the 2004 FS for over a year. Have more than a thousand hours in everything from S172's to B737's. My machine is a Dell 2Ghz with 512 Meg Ram and a standard VGA none excelerated video card. The graphics are phenominal. The Version X FS, far excedes 2004. But runs like a dog on strong sedatives. If you tone down the Graphics to nothing it flies like the FS 2004. For someone with the machine that can handle it, it is a great buy. I would not recommend it to anyone who has less than $2,000 to invest in a real game machine.
