Strengths: Good price, plenty of power, well made
Weaknesses:noise
Overall Evaluation: Got this PSU for my second machine and has been very happy with it so far. Installation was easy (used Cooler Master Centurion case), and AMD Athlon X2 / 2 Gb RAM / 2 HDD system has been running great almost 24/7. Only minor complain is noise, but at the price I got it from Newegg I can't complain. Would recommend it to anyone, especially if offered with mail-in rebate.

Strengths: Very powerfull, 120mm fan, very cooling
Weaknesses:noisy
Overall Evaluation: The fact that i need that much power--probably need more soon. the connectors are the plain type without that 'eject-helper' design. it works as is but could have been better at the premium price that it costs. only 3 SATA connectors. This one felt better in its fit and finish that my last thermaltake but if the connectors are the thermaltake kind then it probably would be perfect.

Strengths: The cables are nice and long so you aren't stretching them to the limit. Very easy to install and it fit perfectly. I didn't have any problems at all. Good air flow.
Weaknesses:It's not as quiet as I would like, but it is bearable.
Overall Evaluation: This Cooler Master "Extreme Power 550W" power supply is more powerful than I need right now, but I plan on adding some upgrades and more drives, so I wanted to be prepared. So far, this PS is running just as I hoped it would and is performing like a champ. I'm not a big "gamer" or anything like that, so I can't speak to how well it might perform under those kinds of conditions. It comes with all the connectors you might need: SATA power connectors, 4-pin peripheral connectors, as well as a motherboard connector, CPU+12v connector, and PCI connector (and even a floppy connector!!) and was a breeze to install. It has a 120mm fan. It is the same size as a standard ATX PS2 150x140x86mm. (Its case is black). If you are environmentally conscious, you will care that this unit's design meets Energy Star and Blue Angle requirements. Cooler Master frequently offers rebates on their power supplies and I have received every single rebate check from them with no problem. (I got this unit FAR from Newegg - you can't beat that!) All in all, I am quite pleased and would recommend this power supply.

Strengths: The price (got it for real cheap), the style of the psu and cables, PCI-E power ready, decent dual rails (16amp each), sufficient power (550W), and provide steady amp
Weaknesses:Quite loud with a 120mm fan, ~70% efficiency, cables not modular, only 3 SATA power connectors, not SLI or Crossfire ready
Overall Evaluation: Took it out of the box and it is in a neat package. Not DOA and start this little puppy up. I have been using this psu for about 2 month already and it has power up my computer with no hiccup (E6320, 2GB, 6800nu, 2 HD, 2 cd drive). During a dust cleaning for the computer, I found it quite hard to pull the power molex off a peripheral drive. Expect a hurt thumb afterward. It's quite loud despite having a 120mm fan with intelligent fan control, you can hear the fan sound running even from a few feet away. Other than that, no other annoying problem. It definitely worths the cheap price I paid for, and this is one of the biggest factors in my overall rating. Note: If the price for this is approximately $30 away from similar psu from corsxxr and the like, get those instead.

Strengths: 120mm fan, dual 12v rails.
Weaknesses:not exactly "super silent"
Overall Evaluation: Its a little bit loud for my tastes, the atx cable is long enough & flexible for my needs. It provides enough power for my pc. Not too many complaints from me, other than being on a little bit loud, overall a decent power supply.
