  Overall Evaluation: I bought the range extender and set it up and it seemed to work for about an hour when it itterupted the wireless signal and required me to restart the network. I tried talking to Cisco who at forst gave me the runaround since my router was out of warranty, nothing wong with router. Afgter much complaining I finnaly spoke with someone who then told me my router was not compatable..... HMMMM the box says it was...... oh they found someone who can't type and left off the 2 on the website. The same build firmare and release date but they can't figure it out. I WILL NEVER BUY AGAIN. customer service is very important for me and to get snubbed like that gets me angry and frustrated. I am NOT a NOOB to the computer world and when something doesn't work and you won't help.... I will be sure to tell hundereds of people.

  Overall Evaluation: I read of poor lifespan; mine was kind enough to die in the return period. Erratic transmitter, signal strength all over. Completely unreliable. Would work for a few hours, then drop dead, then come alive again

  Weaknesses:Occasionally needs to be "re-booted"

  Overall Evaluation: I had read numerous reviews that the product was fine but that the installation was awful. I agree that using the software and instructions that come in the package was pretty much a waste of time. It is surprising that Linksys could do such a poor job on this. However, the automatic configuration button that is on the unit itself worked perfectly first time. This is the second unit I have had, and it generally works pretty well for its intended use.

  Strengths: Good Product name

  Weaknesses:Defective unit

  Overall Evaluation: Spent a week trying to connect to system, called Linksys and ran tests found unit would not connect, defective. Have not received a replacement other then an email saying they would cancel my order, all I want is to have the unit replaced with one that works. Returned defective unit, have not received replacement or credit since.
