    Strengths: Portable yet powerful,connects to network via wi-fi

    Overall Evaluation: This PDA wa a replacement for my earlier Ipaq and was very surprised by the small yet powerful PDA. It is very light to carry yet can accomplish what I need at my work. It keeps a tab of appointmets,meetings,Things to do along with running my medical software at work. It connects to the office wi-fi network so that I can download/reply to my email.I also listen to my music collection on the SD card using a bluetooth headphone with the help of built-in bluettoth.Wish it also has phone feature,byt may be I am expecting too much.It can get a little bit sluggish if you are running software off the storage SD card especially if the card is fullI would recommend this product.

    Duration of ownership: 1 Weeks

    Strengths: Smaller size (about the size of an iPod), easy to hold in the hand or put in a pocket. Jog dial, good processor and memory. Decent-sized stylus (i.e., not just a toothpick like the Dell Axim).

    Weaknesses:No direction pad, which can make it hard to play certain games. Screen is slightly smaller than other WM devices (but not really noticeable). No SDHC support (for now). Flimsy screen cover.

    Overall Evaluation: This device answers one of my long-standing gripes about PDAs - namely, that most of them are large and bulky devices that won't fit comfortably in a jeans pocket. By making this device smaller (if a bit thicker) than previous iPAQ devices and removing all the buttons on the front, HP has given us a device which is better suited for casual use. You can put it in your pocket without worrying about it bulging out or getting turned on accidentally (the power and application buttons are all recessed). HP has clearly put a lot of thought into the ergonomics of this device.Unfortunately, this smaller size and usability comes at a cost. If you like to play action games, you'll be disappointed by the lack of a direction pad. I suspect that active gamers aren't the market that HP is targeting, however - this device is aimed more at users who want an iPod-like device for music and movies that still has all the capabilities of a PDA.I can only find two points on which to criticize HP. First, this device comes with a somewhat flimsy plastic screen cover that snaps on the bottom and is prone to getting broken or lost. As an alternative, I'd recommend buying a case to protect the screen. Second, even though this device has a full-size SD card slot, it only supports older SD cards with a maximum size of 4 GB. It would have been much better if HP had made this device SDHC compatible so that it can use SD cards that are 8 GB and larger. With luck, HP will eventually release an update that fixes this shortcoming.Otherwise, I am very pleased with this device. I prefer it to the Axim X51v VGA unit I used to own, simply because the build quality and ergonomics are so much better. Highly recommended.
