  Overall Evaluation: Disc that came with purchase was faulty- no software on disc. No support on site search, software update not helpful, live chat not helpful, telephone support line, did not help.Their solution was = re-BUY the software that I already paid for when I bought the handycam.

  Duration of ownership: 4 Days

  Strengths: Small size for perfect companion, compact, easy to hold and carry. Digital zoom is great and picture is very clear even in very dark areas.

  Weaknesses:No hard drive

  Overall Evaluation: I think overall it is a great camera/camcorder for the price; excellent digital zoom, clear picture and it allows you to record directly to those mini DVD. Easy to use.

  Strengths: The Great ease of use. The lightness of the whole camera.

  Weaknesses:The zoom is in a bad spot. it is usually were you rest your finger so i was zooming in and out alot. at first

  Overall Evaluation: I had a JVC mini-dv (750.00 three years ago) it was not easy to use. I barely used it at all.I got the SONY DVR-DVD108 HandyCam for x-mas and have been through 7 discs already and none are sony discs either.

  Overall Evaluation: I bought this camcorder around thanksgiving and have been loving it since then. Very handy to use and the results are just awesome. It quickly closes the DVD and I can then immediately watch it on my laptop or dvd player. No issues so far.

  Duration of ownership:

  Strengths: Small

  Weaknesses:No automatic light adjustment, my regular camcorder, the built in light came on automatically when needed.

  Overall Evaluation: Inside still and video pictures were both good and too dark. I am finding correct lighting inside difficult, but probably will improve with pratice. Conversation with customer relations confirm the above.
