Overall Evaluation: This is a very enticing laptop. It has a great graphics card, the hard drives are zippy, the glossy display is gorgeous, and the machine is light for its size! Buyer beware though if you intend to bring this around with you as the laptop is very very fragile and HP does a poor job of honoring the warranty.I bought one of these around 14 months ago. After having it a few weeks, the hinge on the lid broke and the laptop was shocking me. I sent the laptop to HP for repairs and they replaced it with a slightly worse model after a few weeks of bellyaching over the phone. After receiving my replacement laptop and using it for a few months, it too broke. I sent the laptop to HP and that's when the real problems started. Their customer service messed up my name so they couldn't find me in their system. Their support team could not understand what I said when I talked to them and I could not understand what they were saying. I was transferred on one call to the wrong support center and HP ended up wasting two hours of my time. Ultimately, after finally getting ahold of the technicians, they told me that I had spilled soda on the laptop (which I didn't) and refused to fix it unless I paid them $1100.Needless to say, these laptops are fragile, if you are anything but the most careful user, you're better off going with another company.
