One-Touch Portrait Button automatically activates In-Camera Red-Eye Fix and Face-Priority AF to create stunning portraits. All new Pictmotion creates in-camera slide shows with your music. In-Camera Red-Eye Fix automatically fixes most instances of red-eye in the camera. You may never see red-eye again. Face-Priority AF is Nikon's face-finding technology that automatically focuses on faces. D-Lighting that rescues dark or backlit images by improving brightness and detail where needed. Strengths: stylish design

Weaknesses:N/A

Overall Evaluation: The stylish design and the portable size are the two main reasons I bought the item. The picture quality is good. The 3X optical zoom and high resolution LCD makes pictures enough clear to take and print. The wide 170-degree viewing angle is another point to buy the gadget. Other features like one-touch portrait button and In-Camera Red-Eye Fix functions are some extra for the purchase.

Nikon Coolpix S50c Compact Camera

The wireless capability of this compact camera doesn't outweigh its slow performance and so-so image quality.

The Nikon Coolpix S50c compact camera has a few tricks up its sleeve, namely Wi-Fi connectivity, optical image stabilization, and a handy rotary dial that works like a trackball, giving you a fast way to navigate menus. However, while we appreciate such niceties, they don't make up for the S50c's major weaknesses--sluggish shooting performance, poor battery life, and just-okay image quality. (We noted some of the same deficiencies in our review of a newer model, the Coolpix S51.)
