Strengths: Extremely efficient. This baby draws about 50W less power with the same load than my previous power supply. And it is modular, what else needs to be said?

    Weaknesses:None really to speak of.

Overall Evaluation: Installing this power supply was a breeze. You will have every combination of cables that you can think of. I installed one in my gaming rig, and another in my server. Running 12 drives off of this baby in the server without any problems at all.

Strengths: The power connection cables are easy to use and improve airflow within the case. There is more than enough power for any power hungry, cutting edge, gaming system. It is Made in the USA.

Weaknesses:As with any higher wattage power supply, heat will be generated. The X3 is highly efficient and generates less heat than many of its competitors.

Overall Evaluation: In a world of countless power supply options, which one is the best? While opinions vary, this unit does stand out from the others with its modular plugs and its power cables which improve airflow within the computer. Power consumption is another consideration. There really are no problems with efficiency as it is one of the best in the market. Efficiency in converting power decreases energy lost as heat. While there are many excellent power supply units available, this one should definitely be one to consider.

Strengths: TOTALLY MODULAR CONNECTION, GREAT ENCLOSURE DESIGN, PERFORMS AS ASVERTISED.

Weaknesses:DOESN'T SUPPORT 20 PIN OLD MOBO(YOU NEED TO BUY 24 TO 20 PIN ADAPTER SEPARATELY)EXPENSIVE!!!

Overall Evaluation: I UPGRADED MY CASE KM 832,AND SO WITH THE FAN(4 80MM TO 4 120MM FAN). I HAVE AN OLD ABIT IC7 MAX3 MOBO THAT SUPPORT DDR 400/ATI X850 XT/AGP. IN MY OLD SET UP I WAS ABLE TO OC MY CPU TO 3.8Mgh & MY X850 TO X850XT SPEED NO PROBLEM. BUT AFTER UPGRADING TO A NEW SET UP MY CPU CANNOT GO PAST 3.6Mgh AND ANY ATTEMP TO OC MY VID CARD I GET THE BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH. SO I PURCHASE THIS AS AN UPGRADE TO MY 3 YRS OLD ANTEC TRUE 550 POWER TO FIND OUT IF PSU IS THE ISSUE. SURE ENOUGH I GOT MY OLD OC SETTINGS THEN A BIT MORE. NOT TO MENTION LESS WIRE TO FIGURE OUT WHERE TO HIDE TRANSLATE TO CLEAN LESS CLUTTER INSIDE THE CASE.ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED IF YOU CAN AFFORD IT!!!
