    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: Fun, even people who hate video games will try it

Weaknesses:Difficulty even on medium can be rough

Overall Evaluation: A game that comes with a special controller usually seems gimmicky, but Guitar Hero 2 pulls it off in style. Rocking out to some classic and new tunes is a blast. Easy difficulty lets you get your fingers used to moving, and medium kicks your butt. With the inevitable Guitar Hero 3 about to release, with a cordless guitar even, you might want to save for that instead. But pick this up when it gets cheap for the awesome song selection.

    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: Xplorer controller feels great, same guitar hero gameplay makes its way to Xbox 360, downloadable content, extra tracks, XBL leaderboard support

Weaknesses:wired controller only, downloadable content is overpriced and rehashed GH1 tracks, no online multiplayer

Overall Evaluation: Guitar Hero 2 Xbox 360 is virtually identical to the PS2 version with some more tracks and DLC. It boasts online leaderboards to compare your scores with the rest of the world. The controller feels great, actually better than the PS2 guitar. It is only wired however, so be sure to buy USB extensions if you play far from your X360. It has downloadable content but as of now, there's only 4 packs released and they are overpriced and rehashed. All packs are Guitar Hero 1 songs and each pack contains 3 songs for 500 points (a little over $5-6). But it plays like Guitar Hero and it's still awesome.

    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: Fun Gameplay, Nice visuals & interface, Guitar looks cool

Weaknesses:No online co-op, Song selection could have been better

Overall Evaluation: GH2 is a fun game & is played with the new guitar controller for xbox 360. You press buttons to match the notes appearing on screen & if you do good you can rock with some really nice numbers that come with the package. There are some good tutorials for the beginners & also you have varying difficulty levels to chose from. So the game is suited for all age groups. I was expecting the song available on xbox live to be better than they are. & they are really expensive too. I would suggest just rocking to the ones included in the game. You can play as one of the many characters & travel all over with your band. Depending on your performances, the crowd will either swing with you or boo at you. If you like music & like shaking to it - this is your cup of tea

    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: Enhanced graphics, a handful of new songs, Leaderboards, great gameplay

Weaknesses:None really, except that the promissed DLC is just GH1 songs bundled at rediculous prices

Overall Evaluation: By now, you already know if you like the Guitar Hero franchise or not. GH2 on the 360 is still a great game, and the added bonuses make it just a little bit better than on PS2. While the new songs aren't enough to warrant a purchase if you already have the PS2 version (though they are excellent and do not feel tacked on), it's a nice bonus for new players. The online leaderboards also present a nice old school arcade challenge to get the high score, and see how you rank compared to other players. Why are you still reading this, go buy/play this now!

    Duration of ownership: 1 Months

Strengths: +Unique experience on the 360+Guitar feels natural/authentic+replay ability+co-op/ multiplayer+large song selection+guitar should be playable with Rock Band and GH3

    Weaknesses:-only wired-$$$ downloadable songs-Selection of songs-Decent graphics-Seep learning curve

Overall Evaluation: Guitar Hero 2 is definitely a unique experience for 360 owners. Similar to Dance Dance Revolution, you use a guitar and match the button combinations shown on screen. The crowd you play in front of will either cheer or boo depending on how your song performance. As you progress through the game you unlock new songs/costumes. The guitar itself is very sturdy and feels just right. This game allows for multiplayer. If you can't find a second guitar you can use a regular 360 controller. I actually found that the 360 controller was easier to use than the guitar. There are loads of songs that you can play, however I found the selection to lack any real big name songs. You can download new songs from xbox marketplace but they are way overpriced. GH2 also lacks online play. On normal and hard settings GH2 becomes quickly difficult. Overall, if this is your first venture into Guitar Hero, I would not hesitate to pick this game up. GH2 will provide a great warm up for GH3 and Rockband.
