Strengths: HD via Dish Network is great. Sound is superior.

Weaknesses:DVD sound is less that half of Dish signal, some DVDs I turn up the volume all the way and still have trouble hearing. I has contacted Vizio by email and left a phone message about the sound issue, never heard back.

Overall Evaluation: Good TV, support is a joke.

Strengths: Great picture with the HD signal. Many inputs and outputs, more than I'll ever use! Bang for the buck is outstanding with just as good a picture and features as many TVs costing more.

Weaknesses:The picture with analog signal is quite grainy. Surprised by that. Sound through its internal speakers leaves a lot to be desired. My old 27" Zenith had better sound. The remote control font is quite small along with small buttons. Quite difficult to use, espcecially in dim light.

Overall Evaluation: I would definately recommend this digital TV. I am quite happy with it.

Strengths: I got this HDTV because of the PCWORLD INFO. and I'm very please with it. I hook it up to my RCN BASIC cable and it worked real good from the start. I didn't have to change any setting at all. The Color and picture was clear on all basic chanels and HD changles.

Weaknesses:I didn't see any weaknesses in the HDTV or Remote I think any one that want's a new HDTV at a good price you will not go wrong with this one.

Overall Evaluation: The picture is very good and the color to the remote is easy to use to. It has a lot of setting's that you can change if you want to but I didn't find I had to change any thing at all. It has all the hook up you will want to hook up a new dvd player, your computer, and a cable box if you want the paid changle's and it has hook up for other speakers if you want them. I got this HDTV on sale at circuity city for 799.00 - 15.00 off and I got it with three years to pay for it with zero interest if you pay it off in that time. I think it is a good deal and you can not go wrong with this HDTV.

    Strengths: price, picture quality

    Weaknesses:audio, reliability

Overall Evaluation: had this tv for about 5 months now, and loved it until recently. It started losing the picture but keeping the audio. at first unplugging the HDMI cables from the back in then plugging them back in did the trick. not anymore. now i have a tv with a black screen and voices. vizio's tech support is a joke, seeing as how theyre not open on sundays, as well as circuit city's tech dept. bottom line, ive been told this is not just bad luck, apparantly this all the time with vizio's. spend a couple hundred extra and get a better brand.

    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: Good picture quality on HD channels, easy to figure out

Weaknesses:Grainy picture on non HD channels and some movies

Overall Evaluation: My first Vizio, and I'm pretty pleased. On non-HD channels the picture is really grainy, and its just a little grainy on movies. HD is great and the size is just right. I haven't had any real issues with it, and there are no confusing or difficult settings/set ups(which is great for the non tech savvy)
