  Strengths: Compact size and weight; tiltable screen (-2.5 to 10 degrees); easy set up

  Weaknesses:RF coaxial cable connection on the side of the TV instead of in the back

  Overall Evaluation: This is my first LCD TV and my first combo TV/DVD player. I waited to find a new TV under $200 and found this fabulous deal on the Sylvania LD155SL8. I am very impressed by the LCD clarity, color, and brightness. On this 15" Sylvania model the screen size is 9" H x 12" W x 15" diagonal, so it doesn't give that stretched appearance of the larger widescreen monitors. The set-up was so simple. I just plugged in the power cord, hooked up the cable, turned on the TV, and selected auto channel preset. It took about 5 minutes and I was ready to watch TV. The DVD player is cool. The DVD slot is hidden on the side of the TV. There is no tray to deal with. You just put the DVD up to the slot and it pulls it in. The display is excellent.

  Overall Evaluation: THE PICTURE IS GREAT VERY CLEAR NO TV LINES. VERY VIBRANT COLORS THEY DON'T LOOK DULL OR BORING. THE SOUND IS GREAT, NICE STEREO SOUND. DIGITAL CHANNELS ARE AWESOME.
