Duration of ownership: 1 Months

Strengths: Nice multimedia features and good processing power.

Weaknesses:Slow hard drive, and worst of all it randomly shuts down without notice. There are many reviews on the internet describing the same behavior, which means it's a product defect, buy at your own risk, you have been warned! (hopefully you are lucky enough to read this before it's to late, $1000 down the drain).

Inexpensive laptop could be a good second PC if performance isn't a priority.

The Toshiba Satellite A215-S4757 is the first Toshiba laptop with an AMD processor instead of an Intel one. It has heaps of features, including a 250GB hard drive, but its performance could be better.
