Duration of ownership: 2 Weeks
Strengths: This is the original Canon battery, not a off market replacement.
Weaknesses:none
Overall Evaluation: If you need an extra battery for your camera, which you do, get the original battery not a cheap off brand. I couldn't find a better price anywhere and that was almost 50% off most retailers

Strengths: Works great, just like the original.
Weaknesses:None to speak of.
Overall Evaluation: I've been using this battery for over a year and it works great. The main advantage is it costs significantly less than an original Canon battery. I highly recommend it.

Duration of ownership: 1 Months
Strengths: everything is good
Weaknesses:A little pricy
Overall Evaluation: I bought this battery for my canon 400D. I prefer Canon brand to other generic brand batteries. It costs $55, a little expensive though. This battery is super light weighted; charging fast; long lasting......match all my expectations. Love it!

Duration of ownership: 9 Months
Strengths: Holds Charge regardless what level of battery power is left. Charge lasts a long time (approximately 100 RAW images 30% with flash).
Weaknesses:none found at the time.
Overall Evaluation: I bought this battery to replace a generic battery that was 800 mAh thinking the price difference and the additional power would be a wise decision. It turned out to be one of my biggest mistakes. If you take pictures as a hobby like I do and when you found that shot and your battery dies, the next thing to do is grab the replacement. Well my generic did not hold the charge at ALL and I was left with a missed shot. Since the original battery for my Rebel xTi is the same model and I know that it lasts a long time. What better way to get the same one after my mishap. I would never buy generic batteries, especially the investment you put in to your photography equipment. Only 4 stars since there is always a possibility that there may be a better one that I did not come across yet.

Duration of ownership: 5 Years
Strengths: 1. long-lasting 2. quick charge 3. authetic and original one, much better than generic replacement battery 4. Dependable
Weaknesses:1. a little bit expensive
Overall Evaluation: I had one when I bought canon powershot S30, it works just great for almost 5 years till now! My dad wants me to buy another spare one in case that the original one failed. He told me that he bought a generic one for this camera but not good at all. The one I just bought is original and authetic and it charges very fast! I am satistied with this product and highly recommend it instead of buying a generic one.
