    Duration of ownership:

    Strengths: triple interface(firewire 400/800 and usb 2.0), quiet,decent read/write times and wd's reputation for greathhd's including the flagship raptor

    Weaknesses:lacks esata interface

    Overall Evaluation: the wd pro edition 750gb is a good product but losespoints and falls short of great due to it's lacking aesata interface which shoulda never have happened sincethe lower line and significantly cheaper wd home edition750gb is fitted with a esata interface. while the pro's3 interfaces are nice especially the firewire 800 whenit comes to read/write times, tests has shown that esatablows firewire 800 away and can match the future firewire3200. why the pro lacks the esata interface when it'slower line home has it is beyond me, nevertheless the pro is still a good product but coulda been great had it beenfitted with a esata interface which shoulda(but didn't)happened.
