Strengths: Small, looks good in my apartment, menu selection is easy.
Weaknesses:90% of the time will not take incoming calls. Discontinued product.
Overall Evaluation: Great little phone if you only want to make Skype out or outbound landline calls. Philips has decided to discontinue the product line. For a while there, the phone worked perfectly. Now it only lets you make calls out. Inbound calls go right to voicemail unless you reset the phone, log out and log back in again weekly.

Strengths: Seamless operation with Skype, good reception on a bad internet connection, nice user interface.
Weaknesses:Pretty bad battery life, less than 8 hours idle time. Charge time about 8 hours.
Overall Evaluation: A friend who lived in China for 2 years (and used this phone) recommended it very highly. He told me it worked well even with a 600 MS ping time. I tried this with congested Minneapolis Wireless ISP lines, and it worked like a charm. I loaded down the line with a few torrents, still no problem. Even works well with moderate packet loss.I am sending my daughter to Central America with this phone. With the combination of skype-in and skype-out, she will have a local area code, so her parents and friends can keep in touch like she was across town. The Skype cost for this is just $8/month. Pretty amazing.

Strengths: Easy setup. Easy to use. Easy volume control. Works anywhere I walk with it (around the house and outside on our deck. All around great VOIP phone.
Weaknesses:None that I have found yet.
Overall Evaluation: I highly recommend this phone. It worked great from the get go. I thought long and hard about the cost and didn't have any past experience with VOIP phones, so I didn't know what to expect when I finally ordered it to use with SKYPE. I have been very pleased.

Strengths: It works very well.It has a slick design.It is easy to use.Using skype saves you a lot of money.
Weaknesses:The quality of call is not very good. The voice sounds weak.There's a lot of hiss in the background.
Overall Evaluation: My parents should dial a long distance number to reach several times a week. But it is not a real long distance call. We tried Yahoo voice chat (free) a lot of times but the problem was that we had to use our PC for that. I wanted to find a way to remove the necessity to use a computer. The VOIP8411B/37 DECT VOIP Phone System was definitely the answer. Although the call quality is not as good as Yahoo (however is acceptable) but it serves its purpose.

Overall Evaluation: I just got this product and I am so happy to try this new product. The phone is easy to install and get use. If your house can support enough bandwide, it's really good stuff for you to talk with your friend and family. Also, the voice quality is so good that you can rely on it.
